Zidane had finally managed to find a place where Cranial couldn't catch him, she was still in heat, and wanting to make puppies. It was so very, very disturbing and he hoped she'd come to her senses soon enough and go back to being his wonderfully crazy, if not smelly brother after this passed.

His eyes saw movement and he prayed it wasn't her. He heard voices, two to be exact, one Deep voice that spoke softly, and a slightly more harsh toned one that kept cursing. He glanced out to see what in the world he'd hidden in the middle of.

His skin shimmered in the sun as he tried to take a nap, however the idiot he was traveling with did not think that just lazing around was a good idea, "Ban, STOP sniffing around and just sit still, I need rest before we keep heading for this golden place you keep talking about. Because for some reason you keep saying just a bit farther, and WE'VE BEEN WALKING FOR FIVE DAYS." Korum-un snarled at the pale male with spots that would make one feel rather...disturbed if you stared at them too long.

Ban as he was aptly called, since his name was long and hard to pronounce with a wolf tongue or mind, grinned, well he sort of smirked, and sniffed again just to irritate the Shimmery male, "I'm just sniffin' to make sure we're on the right track, and see if there's anything decent for a buzz. You know me, I'm much more functional...when I'm not in my right mind, none of that hyper crap, right Koru?" Sniffing a bit more he found some of his favorite wild grass. "Jackpot baby." With that the White tailed spotted nut skittered out of sight.

"Are you REALLY GOING TO LEAVE ME HERE?" There came a yipping reply and Korum-un snarled. He was going to have to chase after that idiot again, which would be another day.

Standing up and sniffing around, he found that Ban and he were not alone. "Who are you that spies on us?" His stance altered just in case the fool decided to attack.

Zidane watched intently, enjoying the amusing interaction between the two, it was funny, especially, what was his name? Ban. He seemed carefree and the other was just superbly uptight.

He blanched a bit when he was found out. NOt being one to hide when he was found, unless it was Cranial he poked his head out and looked up at the other wolf with his ears folded, "I'm not spying, I'm hiding. You guys happened to pass by and I heard you, so of course I have to look." it was a rather meek answer, mostly because he was very sure he did not want Cranial hearing him. "Where are you all headed anyways?" He was trying to disuade things that might lead to a fight, not that he was incapable of fighting, he just didn't want to.

He watched as the male came out with ears folded, obviously this was a meek little male was easily used, unlike Ban who was too...Ban was useless, he kept his stance, to intimidated, "We're heading for a place that's said to take in wolves and feed them. Sounds to me like there should be a leader of some kind that we can convince to give us shelter."

He smirked, "Have you seen a log house said to house a strange human?" He figured there would be no answer, or a squeak.

The minute the house was mentioned Zidane's ears snapped up. He grinned, "OH! You guys are headed to my place then. But we can't go there till...after a few more days." He did not want to explain why he was hiding out here when he lived in a very nice house. Nor did he want to go back yet.

"So why are you guys headed there?" His head tilted, he heard what he thought was the other male coming back.

"We need a place to stay and traveling with that idiot is rather...annoying. Thus, we're looking for a place to make a base of operations, and that sounded like a good start...." Kuro would have said more, but a scent unlike anything he'd ever smelled slapped his nose like a whip, "WHAT IS THAT?" His eyes watered a little, as he stared at the red wolf.

"Oh no...my sister...She found us...." Zidane twitched and tried to figure out what direction she was coming from.

Cranial spotted her brother, "Hey, where the hell have you been? We were gonna go hunting." Cranial had apparently returned to her senses, "I mean cool you gound some new guys, but Mistress is gonna kick your a** if we don't bring something to eat." It was as though she didn't even remember having made a pass at her brother.

Kuro could not believe his ears, a wolf smelled like that? Then he saw the thing that the scent was coming from. "What the hell is that?" He glared at the disgusting female, and growled, "Why is such a nasty creature even living?"

"Dude, that's my...sister. I know she isn't much to look at, but jeez be nice." Zidane turned to Cranial and sighed, "Good to see you're back to your senses, we can head out soon, this guy and the one over in the grass were headed to our place." He was trying to avoid Cranial getting upset.

Her eyes narrowed at the male who insulted her, "Right, and mr. hologram butt is any better. You want me to show you what I can do?" Her stance shifted to the attack, "Because I will gladly kick your a**."

"You are the nastiest thing I have ever had the misfortune to see, what the hell do you think you can do? You smell like your rotting from the inside out!" Koru laughed but regretting breathing mostly. Her stench hurt his nose.

Cranial's body though ragged looking moved fast, and in a few moments she was tackling Koru to the ground,snapping off bits of his rather impeccable fur, not caring about getting injured. Her paws hit hard and held him down for the beating he deserved for insulting her.

Zidane dove for the grace when he heard Koru's rather stupid commentary. Cranial had just gotten stable again, and she was ALWAYS up for a fight. He sat next to the completely dazed Ban and Waited for the fight to finish.

Ban had mostly been keeping to himself, and had noticed the female long before the others, but it seemed interesting as to what was going on now. He watched amused for a short, then smirked and turned to the red wolf, "So wanna show me where you live before they finish or after?

"After." Was the short reply as he watched the massacre happen.

Koru couldn't think as the stench was so close it was much like having his nose torn apart by a horrible stench. He howled and took the beating trying to hold his breath, and failing as the evil female tore into him. He yelped, how could he be so helpless against this thing? He was going to snarl and strike back, but instead, "I GIVE! I'M SORRY!" though he regretted speaking.

One last paw to the other wolf's face and she moved off, "Just remember that I'll do that anytime you open your mouth and say nasty things about me." She kicked dirt over his prone form, "Bro, take 'em to the Mistress, then we go hunting." She snorted at Koru and left the small clearing.

Koru laid there, his first ever defeat, not only at the paws of a female, but he didn't land a blow because his nose felt like it was melting off. It was utterly humiliating.

Ban nodded as the female who wreaked of rot left, then laughed as he looked at his very prone friend, "Gonna lay there all day?" He stood and waited for a retort.

"Shut up." Was all Koru said as he stood up, and walked to them with a bit of a limp, "Now what?" He was in need of some medical attention, he was also sure that everywhere she had hit him and bit him was going to get infected.

Watching his sister leave, he sighed, "I think it's best we do what she says, since you made a bad impression anyway." Sighing he joined them in standing then lead the way out of the clearing and back to his home. It was going to be complicated.

Ban couldn't help chuckling as he followed the red wolf, this was going to be quite fun, and from the look of things, boring was not going to happen at all.

Koru trailed behind, Koru cursed and vowed to get back at that thing that had humiliated him so much, but in the meantime, he stepped lightly to avoid pressure on his very torn up ankle. He did not like where today was going.
