Hmm. I don't know what to say then.
If you find it is an ongoing problem (not just some odd glitch that one day) I would like to know about it.
I'll tell you if I find it happening again. It really is strange! I played my own tank with one of my mules the same day this happened and I made over 3000 gold so I know all the Dolphins are dropping gold.
I found a possible answer to your problem if you are using IE.
I've seen several posts saying there is a problem right now between booty grab and Internet Explorer and the game won't load. If you use a different browser like Firefox it works. I also saw one or two posts complaining about problems in Firefox but I use FF and have not had a problem.
This IE bug has been going on for a while now. People have been posting in the bug reports and I believe it coincides with the time that Gaia devs have started "fixing" the Booty Grab tanks. There has not been any announcements by Gaia on any fixes, and come to think of it, this glitch fits perfectly in Gaia's attempt to curb inflation and lessen the amount of gold in the Gaia economy. Forgive my suspicious nature, but Gaia administration has not exactly been open with users and customers.
Yes, from what I hear / read that timing seems about right.
And yes, I thought the same thing. Millions of gold not going into the economy so it helps inflation but is something they will probably blame on Microsoft / IE. "After all - it works with OTHER browsers so it must not be a Gaia problem."
That may not be their intent at all but it illustrates the point of how badly Gaia - and the Aquarium team in PARTICULAR - needs to communicate more with the users. The aquarium folks have been so sneaky and closed mouthed for so long that when anything bad happens involving fish / booty grab folks pretty much just assume they are up to their tricks again.
If they had a track record of talking to us openly (and honestly) then when they are struggling with a particular bug it would be easier to believe them. Instead we have their thread with the fix announcement followed by 30+ pages of comments and questions about what they said but not one post or update to post 1 by the aquarium team.
