Situated comfortably to the Southwest and along the seacoast lies the charming city of Giza. Unlike it's neighbor to the North (Zanzibar), the soil in Giza is moist and fertile, eliminating any opportunity for a pesky dust storm. Although a large river allows for plentiful irrigation in the city, most hounds here take to the sea and use the fresh water only to keep their landscaping alive. Giza citizens are proud of their ability to catch fish of all shape and size, which are in high demand in other parts of the region. Hounds of all calibers live here, the wealthiest inhabiting the shoreline with private docks while the less lucky inhabit smaller homes farther towards Zanzibar's borders. Almost every hound in this region has claim to at least one slave to help in the fishing efforts, as cats are naturally better fishermen than hounds. The city itself is pleasing to the eye and offers a plentiful fish market to those in the mood for the taste of the sea. Overall, Giza is a charming little city where most hounds of modest wealth would love to live.
