((*=Doctor's Appointment))
She looked at her watch. Dr. Noble wasn't in a hurry, it was just that she was just curious who this Lorelai was. She looked at her clipboard. Chromodoris Fidelis Nudibranch. So this child would be one of those androgynous Mers... The doctor smiled, and waited patiently for the parent to arrive with the child in the lobby.

Kiri had fashioned a little carry-case for his baby mer, in which Lorelai was happily cuddled, the bag filled with water. It was kept in the bag by a mechanism that allowed Lore's head through when he wanted a peek, but kept the liquid and other things [a pile of sand, some shells] in check. The contraption strapped easily to Kiri's back, and was about the size of a large backpack. It must have weighed a TON - but the elfish flame-red-headed boy didn't seem to mind.
"Doctor Noble!" he called, waving one hand at her as he approached, setting down the sack, and watching Lorelai swim up to the top to investigate. "I'm not late, am I?"

Doctor Noble got up to meet the man, "No, no... You're just in time." The small woman smiled, and looked down at the Mer, "So this is Lorelai? What a cutie." She knelt down, and patted the little one on it's head.

Lorelai wasn't too terribly sure about the whole contact thing, and thus ducked back under the water to the stern glance from his father.
"Lore... be nice now. This lady is a doctor. She's going to make sure you're okay. Don't be rude."
Slowly, the child swam back up the the top, and stuck his head out again.
"That's better. Now be nice." He looked at the watch on his wrist. "I thought for sure I was ten minutes late... Maybe this thing is fast..."
