Canon rebel XS. Its a good entry level DSLR. Its nice and simple.

I would like to tell you, you should keep in mind that it is possible to shoot pro quality pictures on a small camera. DSLRs are really just made the way they are so they will look more like film cameras. Its the shiny factor that attracts most people. lol

Correction. You want to use a DSLR.

And I use a Canon T1i.

For a Film SLR, I use a Canon Kiss III.
