1. Kadabra/Astor ♂ (Gijinka)
Ability: Psychic - Psychic type can see visions, but they aren't very strong. They can't see too far into the future and they can't see into the past either. They can also read minds, but only if they place a hand on the person.
Inner Focus - This Pokémon will not flinch. Does not prevent flinching with Focus Punch.

2. Gallade/Xinli ♂
Ability: Steadfast - Speed raises by one level every time the Pokémon flinches.

xxxxxxxxYing is a pretty out going and happy go lucky guy. Because of this he can come off as a little ditsy when if fact he quite thorough when it comes to nearly everything he does. He's protective of his friends and will do almost anything for him. However, he does have his limits and will say "no" when they cross the line. But due to his childish personality, it's hard for him to be serious in doing this. He has a fragile ego and tends to sulk when insulted. Especially when it's Astor who is insulting him. If he doesn't sulk, insults could send him into overdrive and motivate him to do better.

He's very mischievous and loves playing pranks on the obnoxious trainers that come through his doors. Whether it be a psychic boot out the door via Astor, or drawing on their faces while they sleep because of his trusty Tao. Whatever leads to the same shocked expression from the trainers. He's hardly ever in his gym and if a trainer ever does find him, he treats it as a game of hide and seek. If they want a battle, they have to catch him first.

xxxxxxxxBorn in Kanto's Saffron City to a house wife and a high powered CEO of Silph Co. Ying lived a very comfortable life. As a child he got everything he wanted, toys the best education money could buy...all but one thing. A pokemon. At the age of 13 he asked for a pokemon. Not even an "I'll think about it, kid." just a straight no. However, Ying didn't let this stop him. He snuck out of the city everyday and played with the Pokemon that his father adamantly disapproved of. And one day after being cornered by an angry vulpix he was protected by an Abra. He wasn't sure if it was the fact that it accidentally teleported into this situation or if it actually cared but Ying was sure surprised.

After a month of playing with this Abra everyday after school, Ying approached his father and told him that he wanted to be a Pokemon trainer. Unfortunately, he didn't get the go ahead he was expecting. In fact, he was disowned, his father only gave him enough to ship him off to the Nayu region and a just enough to scrape up a couple of pokeballs. He hasn't seen his father since, but in the past 5 years he has taken over and run the Cielo City gym.
