Miss Perfection

I think guys who can cry are stronger in themselves because they have the guts to face their emotions.
I don't think being manly is about being covered in muscles and drinking beer any more then being a woman is about wearing short skirts and being fragile.
Now it's true some people do fit into the stereotypes... but stereotypes are not generally typical.
To me, a man is someone I can respect. Someone who owns up to their mistakes. Someone who works to improve. Someone who isn’t rash. Someone who treats others with respect. Someone with integrity. Someone with character. Someone who will stand up for something right even if it's against popular opinion.
A person is not just the sum of their parts. You can look like the best thing since sliced bread but that wont matter if you do something such as hitting women. Especially if there is no effort to improve then my respect for you will vanish.
In the end. It's not the wrapping, it's the present inside that is important.

Could'nt have said it better myself. Miss, you have grasped this concept
perfectly. I'd like to add a little bit to it though. What men should exemplify, is chivalry...and that includes all of what you've said.
I think its courage that defines a man, or the lack of it. They need courage to face their faults, courage to accept things, courage to show their emotions, courage to have conviction and stand up for what is right...and courage to grow as people.
Of course, thats not limited to men, but it is what they strive for...or should.
Personally, I like anybody who shows some spirit and conviction...
and good moral fibre.
