Misaki's bird landed on a low-hanging branch a few feet away from a pacing Sora. He sqwaked loudly and Misaki came running cheerfully. "Hey, Sora" she called as she waved cheerfully.

Sora looked around at the sound of her name and noticed Misaki. "Hey!" the girl greeted in the same manner that she would greet any friend, "Did you do everything you needed to? What do you want to do next?". She wasn't acting, she really did see Misaki as a friend of hers. Actually, for anyone who happened to be spying on them (*cougcoughNagisacoughcough*) Misaki really did seem like any old friend of Sora's. It made sense for her to have separate groups of companions that knew little about each other, especially considering that while she was a kunoichi she also retained the civilian friends that she made before she entered the academy. It was one of the perks of having non-ninja parents who knew a lot of non-ninjas.

Misaki's smile brightenes once she caught sight of Sora waving at her. She rushed over to her and gave her a huge hug. "Thanks for agreeing to take me off the mountain." She abruptly let her go and gawked at the lake. "Wow, this lake is so pretty! The one on the mountain is kinda small, but this one is HUGE!" She flung out her arms, accentuating the size of it, and giggled. "So, what does the rest of the area look like? Can we get something to eat too? Running after ther bird was kinda tiring."

Sora's already large smile grew even more as she noticed how much Misaki liked the lake. The girl definitely had to agree, especially with the surface of the water delicately sparkling like so many jewels in the afternoon sun, framed by a ring of sturdy trees that seemed to protect the body of water with their leafy branches. "Just wait until you swim in it, then you'll find out how fun it is, too!" the girl commented before explaining in the same over-excited tone, "As for the rest of Kumo.... Well, it's better if you see! Come on! You said you were hungry? I know the perfect place!". With that said, Sora quickly grasped Misaki's hand and pulled her in the direction of the ramen shop of her village. Despite her excitement, she controlled her speed so that she wasn't dragging her new friend over to the restaurant.

Misaki's smile widened as she turned back to Sora. "We can swim in it? Is that really ok?" She almost fought Sora as she pulled her away from the sparkly waters, but a quick growl form her stomach made her a lot more compliant. She gave a short whistle and waved towards the starlit that led her there, then patted her shoulder. The bird nodded once, then flew away from the tree to perch on the shoulder she had just patted.

Chunin l Puppet Genius l Golden Paper Angel  A figure with golden hair entered the area, jumping into the scene, her golden hair fluttering around the air, but it suddenly stopped, this when she turned around abruptly, waiting for Aiko. " Alright Aiko-san, before we begin your puppet and elemental training, I believe I should teach you the customary ninja jutsu, this being the Wall walking technique and the water walking technique, the first because it will help you along the line; so be it in combat or a mission. The later one, despite it being a C ranked jutsu, it will help you learn how to control the release of chakra... Which is a key for any ninja, but more so, any puppet user." Cecily then said as she bought her hands together, making a single seal. " Now watch closely." The girl said as she took a step back; still facing Aiko, once she arrived, with that step small amounts of chakra began to concentrate in the soles of her sandals. " As you just saw, you must gather chakra on to your feet, this so that your feet have just enough chakra to stick on to flat vertical surfaces. With that said Cecily turned around and slowly walked toward the tree, bending one knee she made one of her feet rest against the tree, and very soon the other one. Without much time, Cecily had walked up the tree, she bent her legs and crouched on the tree's trunk, looking, or trying to look, toward Aiko, since her hair would be in the way. " The trick for this jutsu is to simply allow your chakra to cycle down your legs, and focus it on your feet, with just enough mass that is allows you to walk up the tree." Cecily said, pushing against the tree's trunk with her feet, flying around the air and landing beside Aiko. " Alright, now you try it." She said in a soft tone, pushing Aiko gently with her hand; nudging the young girl to try out the jutsu.

Aiko arrived not too long after Cecily, and faced her instructor. Listening to her words, she then watched as she demonstrated the technique. Turning to face the tree, she made a single seal and closed her eyes, allowing her chakra to flow through her body, then focus to her feet. Carefully, she placed one foot on the trunk of the tree and attempted to put her weight on it, but as soon as she did, she slipped and nearly toppled over. Steadying herself, she repeated the process, this time refining her focus and allowing more chakra to flow out. This time as she stepped up, her weight held, allowing her to take a step up with her other foot. Slowly, she made her way up the tree, occasionally loosing her footing, and falling to the ground, only to get back up and try again.

Chunin l Puppet Genius l Golden Paper Angel Cecily saw Aiko do the technique with much ease, in a way, it made her feel good; her student knew what she was doing, and more than that, she knew how to do so with relative ease. " Well done, I wasn't expecting you to pick up on that so easily... It usually takes some time to get a grasp on the wall walking technique... She said pausing for a moment, looking over toward the lake. " Now for the next part of your chakra training; the water walking technique." Cecily said as he took a few steps toward the lake, placing light gold chakra upon her legs. " Just like with the last jutsu, you have to place chakra upon your legs... and balance yourself over the water, like this. The girl said softly, slowly walking over the water, balancing her weight in each foot, walking over the water. [ Kk, since this is a C rnak jutsu it takes around 7 posts, thanks to your -3 it-s four posts. ]

Aiko paused for a moment and listened to the next instructions, then she watched as Cecily preformed the technique. Walking closer to the lake, she allowed the cool water to splash against her feet, as small waves crashed against the shore. Placing her hands together, she made a single seal, she then closed her eyes and allowed her chakra to flow through her. Focusing, her feet began to emit a blueish aura as the chakra gathered. Taking her first step, her foot just slipped deeper into the cool water.

Obviously, the task at hand was going to be much more difficult than walking on a solid object. Once again, she began the process of gathering her chakra and allowing it to flow to her feet, this time, she refined it further, but once again her foot slipped into the water. Standing, ankle deep in the water, she began to get discouraged. Wading deeper into the water, she cleared her head by slaping the surface of the water, making a large splash. After a few minutes she felt better and made her way back to the shallow water.

With a clear mind, she once again made the preparations to focus her chakra. Allowing it to flow to her feet, she once again took another step, but she could already feel her foot sink. Hovering her foot on the surface, she began to experiment with her chakra. She increased the flow and applied pressure, her foot sank, so she lowered the flow and applied more pressure. Feeling a slight bit of resistance this time, she continued experimenting, until she had an understanding of how the technique was supposed to work. Instead of having a constant stable flow, as she had when climbing a tree, she learned that she had to constantly change the flow to match to flow of the water.

With what she now understood, she took a step onto the water, with the proper flow, she was met with resistance. Now with her second foot, she made her step onto the surface of the water. But as she put all of her weight on the top of the water, she began to sink, much slower than normal, but still sink none the less. Releasing the technique, she tried once again, this time she fine tuned it further. Taking her first step, it held stable as if she were on a solid surface. Taking her second step, she could feel the same resistance as her first and so she took another step, and wobbled a bit but quickly regained her balance and took another step. Carefully she walked further into the lake until she felt comfortable. Then she made her way back to the shore and smiled, she had finished learning the technique.

Chunin l Puppet Genius l Golden Paper Angel Aiko had done the water walking jutsu, very well done in Cecily's eyes non the less. " So Miss Mizrahi, what would you like to train in next? Doton? Suiton? Paper jutsu maybe?" Cecily questioned the genin, motioning the girl with her hand to get off the water. With that sign done, the Chunin slowly made her way to dry land; waiting on the genin's desition. [ I forgot to tell you, once you do a technique, even while training, it costs chakra. ]

Aiko made her way back to shore and placed her sandals back on her feet. Turning to Cecily, she listened to her question, then pondered on it a moment. She had already done some Doton training, and she figured she would get to Suiton soon, but she was really excited to learn about her bloodline, "Lets do some paper jutsu training" she said, trying her best to hide her excitement.

Hearing Aiko's responce, Cecily nodded, slowly pacing toward the same tree she had taught Aiko the first technique. " Very well then; paper jutsu is." She said softly as he turned, now facing the girl which should have been walking beside her, or behind her, toward the tree. " The first technique is called Art of Pressing pulp. It's a very simple technique. To do it, you just..." She said, extending her hand toward the tree, covering her entire hand with chakra, gently pressing it against the tree's thick wood. " ...Place your hand against the wood of a tree, place chakra on your hand,and then alter it's comosition, like this." She instructed Aiko as her chakra rubbed off on the tree, and before long the bark pealled off the tree and converted into paper, slowly floating around Cecily.

Following Cecily, she watched as she preformed the jutsu. Stepping closer to the tree, Aiko preformed a single seal, as she gathered her chakra. Allowing it to flow to her hand it began to glow with a blue aura. Pressing it against the tree, she attempted to repeat what Cecily had just done. Holding her hand there for a moment, nothing happened, then she could see as the heavy chakra began to burn the bark. Retracting her hand, she then lowered her flow of chakra and placed her hand on the trunk once again. Allowing it to flow into the tree naturally, she could feel a strangely familiar feeling, as if she had instinctively know she was capable of doing the technique. Moments later, the bark began to peel back then fall to the ground as a fresh sheet of paper.

Seeing Aiko make the papers she nodded. " Well done. Now for the next part." She said making a single seal, extending her hand toward a sheet of paper. " This next technique is called Kimitate Assembly; and it is one of the most important techniques of the Paper Techniques, in my opinion atleast." He said pausing for a moment, making the paper bend, and soon after more would join in, until a four foot tall tiger was made purely out of paper. Cecily placed her hand gently on the Origami Tiger and smiled. " Just use your chakra to manipulate paper into whatever you wish." She explained pausing for a moment, making a Kunai and a eagle with the spare paper that was around. " Make a small, medium and large object with your manipulation if you would please. She then added, wanting to make sure the girl would have the technique perfectly down.
[So yea... that would be three posts; one for each figure. Have fun ]
