FayearanWhy did they have to take his home, did they not have plenty of their own couldn’t those flat feet of there be better in the planes? Faye’s thoughts were only answered by his own ragged breathing as his legs pushed beneath him making him go further and further away from the forests and the humans who were taking the tree’s down and letting go that fire creature that ate everything including the little mouse burrow he had only found this morning in a pile of leaves. His mind was in a swirl, his eyes rolling to the back of his head in panic and fear as even here his mind told him he could smell the burning mice. So Faye ran further, he passed plains and went through an unknown forest but he was blind to it all. When the sun started going down and his body protested him moving anymore, he realized the ground was not firm under his hooves and gave way little by little the moment he stepped down.
So he stopped and looked around, his green eyes stilled their rolling for him to see he was someplace he had never seen before and now wished he hadn’t ever. His nose smelled old molding and rotting things, his feet told him of ground that would be happy to swallow him whole if he let it. His body was heaving and shaking, a film of sweat covered him but the air soon froze it to his skin. He could see no sun; in fact he saw no sky at all. Where was he, had he died in that fire and wondered wrong? Ears flat down his nostrils rimming red he tried to keep calm as he felt his hooves sink into the ground and the ground slowly slink up his legs. When his right front hoof suddenly started going straight down Faye reared and bucked before bolting. He had never felt ground like this, snow he could even walk on but what was this muck eating him? More importantly, how to get out?

AngeetiaWretched two-leggers... Once more they had occupied the mountain pass, trapping her in the forest. Her kitty wasn't going to accompany her home either so there'd been no taking on the group of them. She'd been trapped in the forest for well over her desired amount of time. The sun had created a scorching heat and the canopies above had only provided minimal relief. She'd searched for her Einar before deciding to return to the mountains and was thwarted. It was safe to say her trip had been mostly a failure though she was not home yet so there was still time to make it worth while and with that idea in tow she'd decided to explore further expansions of the forest. She could tell that further off in the forest that there had been a disturbance because there was a taint to the air that seemed to have settled across the forest like a blanket. Small critters were frantic and the birds in the sky erratic. She was not overly concerned with the other creatures of the forest however, her kitty would be fine and safe and for her that was all that mattered. A sizzling gurgle, then a pop drew her attention, aimlessly she'd blindly walked through the forest. The sound fascinated her and she drew closer to it, beneath her hooves the ground was growing mushy, and soft. The tree spread out farther and thin but the sky was dark. A shine of glee danced across her eyes as she surveyed the new landscape. She could very well find a new home her, one that offered at least one sort of game for her to play. Her petite figure kept her easily from sinking in too far.
She continued her aimless walking surveying the grasses and low shrubs that looked oddly disfigured as compared to the bushes of the forest. Her hooves sank in to the ground in some places her weight even being a burden upon the land itself. Small critters scurried from one bush to another. There was an even odder smell to the air a mix of muggy air and molded and dying things. It was not pleasant but it was tolerable, least Angee thought so. She tossed her mane to rest on the other side of her body and looked skyward, no sky was visible it was as if a greasy, haze like fog coated the sky. Ah yes a good place to take up residence she though to herself once more. A gurgle and pop happened again as trapped gas bubbled to the top of the soft ground, after ward the ground sunk in severely and quiet rapidly, like a sink hole. The making of a game were already falling into place, all she had left to do was find someone to play it with...
With that Angeetia knew what her goal would be... she would find someone to play this game with, surely anyone out here in the environment would shun her, if they feared her she would not complain for she could make that into a twist for the game... "Yes a companion for this little tryst." Her voice held an eerie tone to it, it could be considered smooth as silk but the kind of silky tone of voice that could send shivers down a spine, seeping through the air it could at times seem like it came form every direction.

Running he didn’t sink so quick so he kept it up, but branches and sharp things bit into his flesh and soon little scratched were beading with red blood and this attracted bugs. Ears down he swished his tail and with a swift thwack, killed many of the nasty things to watch them fall to the muck. The time it took for him to do this led him to start sinking again so he swiftly started walking. So long as he kept moving it didn’t seem to get to soft beneath him and soon he was figuring away to move his cloven hooves so that it took even more time even while he stood still. Being what he was, whatever it was; came in handy. Ears peering forward his neck arched without his knowing as he just about pranced as he kept walking, his antlers tore at any vegetation the grew too close to the ground but a shake of his and it was off his black and white antlers.
As he walked he heard a voice, not one he could make out the words from but still a voice. It was times like this Fayearan wondered where his so called familiar was; the bird seemed to do whatever he wanted. Still prancing on light feet he changed his direction until he was sure he was going toward the voices way. Surprisingly it took him but a number of steps to see her. A mare with a body of shadow yet he was sure in the sun she would shown brighter and seem more like the sky lights in the winter nights. Coming to a standstill his ears peered forward and he snorted softly, his velvet nose smelling only the horrid smells of the marsh. “Would you be lost as well?” His voice was soft and smooth as the wings of an Angi, Faye half worried he would be to quite for her to hear. This place seemed to swallow sound and he dreaded what it would do to screams.

With a soft sway she was lightly moving over the wetland almost seeming to hover over the ground leaving barely a dent in the ground. She was tossing her head about taking it all in, to start she saw no one. It was a small disappointment to her, but something within her told her she'd succeed in her goal. Something stirred her to want to hum though she stomped down the stirring feeling. She huffed a soft frown playing at her lips, the new land was becoming boring...
Suddenly or rather not exactly suddenly but a gradual realization creeped across her. Her tail whipped from one side to the other and she felt someone else, she was not on edge at all which was pleasing. She felt in no certain danger, she peered around shifting on her hooves just out of caution of sinking. She rotated her head about searching for who she felt and didn't have to look to far. Not far from her she saw a stallion with oddly shaped horns, she could faintly hear him say something but not enough to understand what he said. So she moved forward to the Stallion "I'm sorry what did you say?" His mane was a stark contrast to the dark and dull marsh land.

The mare’s voice was just as fascinating as her looks and he couldn’t help but stare at her mesmerizing colors that swirled and shifted. “You look like the light in the night sky of winter.” It fell out his mouth like an apple too big to bite. The shock at himself saying that was quite alarming and his ears flew back in embarrassment before he shifted and made a move to clear his throat. “Excuse me that was rude. I was asking you if by chance you to were lost in this horrid place.” He could feel the ground under him shifting so carefully he moved his hooves clear, somewhere far of a frog sounded and there was a thrashing and a snap of jaws before things were silent save bugs and the sound of popping he rather not know. This whole day was odd, but looking at the Mare he could help feel a bit better.
He wasn’t the only one lost and he got to see someone who looked like a ghost. The thought brought a halt to anything else and he looked her over quickly. Was she alive, was he talking to a dead Soquili and had he died himself? The thought was panic worthy but he stood still, only to flinch his muscles to stay on top the ground without sinking any further. He had noticed her hooves were rounded; she must have been having more trouble staying on top the ground then him. Unless she was dead, or maybe he was just wrong totally. He needed to stop talk thinking to himself.

The sight of him was entertaining to say the least though such a thought could be taken harshly she didn’t think it in such a manner. She merely though such a contrast in color did not fit the dark muddy colors of the marsh. She shifted under his direct stare, would he now seeing her up close fear her as the two-leggers at times did? Would he shun her? Would he turn in disgust that she’d given up her full form to that of a shadowed form? Sure she could be physically touched and hurt but she was not fully whole when the edges of her danced with shadows like flames from a fire. Her fretting was soon acquitted as the words tumbled forth from him. A soft laugh that was similar to the sound of her voice bubbled from her, part from his reaction but most from her fretting. “No I’m not lost here in this place per say.”
She nodded her head softly mulling over what exactly to say. It was along the lines of not being able to find what doesn’t want to be found, or something like that. She liked the marsh she’d wandered into the marsh not caring where she was or went and as a result did not know where she was so in that sense she was lost however on the other hoof she did not want to up and leave the place just for the sake of leaving, for in that case she was not lost per say. “I don’t know where I am, other then I know I am here.” She nodded once more content with her answer he’d become awfully silent but she would not question it. His mane and tail seemed most properly groomed save for leaves and other forest items that clung to him though she was sure they only remained because of the muck of the marsh land. He had also called the marsh a horrid place, totally aside from the fact that he said he was lost she could tell he wasn’t from here and he didn’t feel like staying. He seemed to be deep in thought mulling over thoughts of his own though this time it didn’t lead the mare to fretting over what he could be thinking, he had complimented her, or at least that’s what she had gathered by his reaction to his words.
Angeetia sighed softly she was once more the smaller of the two, even when it came to other mares she was typically smaller. She didn’t always mind though, she could head but her kitty’s chin, or stare into the yellow goldlike gem upon his two-legger contraption and watch as her shadows danced. She could not tell if this other Stallion was the same size as her kitty or smaller though she thought he was smaller if only even by a small bit. ”What as you attention caught so aptly that you mull in thought so deeply. I dare say that may not be too safe on such soft ground with your weight.” She arched one of her brows shifting slightly once again.
