Yes, oh my god. It's one thing to hit your kid for no reason, another to overreact, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.
Like I wasn't that bad a kid. Not a total angel, but I shut up when I was supposed to, I never threw tantrums. My parents still hit me with whatever was on hand for no good reason.
My sister. She NEVER SHUTS UP. Noise all through the car ride, and I get yelled at when she screams and talks and talks and makes noise and hits me and gives me no room when I'm crammed against the window and scratches and kicks and bites.
They never hit her. God.

I rememmber when parent were like: "I brought you to chucky cheese, heres 20 bucks, Now shut-up and get out of my face."

I hate going to starbucks because whenever I play runescape, Midget noobs are gawking at my screen.
I can't watch furry porn and cut magic logs if little brats are watching me.
Other than that, I have to deal with noobs at Mick'Ds pissing themselves when I'm trying to enjoy a ******** shake.

I have three little brothers and one little sister.
All of them are 3-6.
And what do you think I do when the parents aren't around and I have to watch them and they won't shut the **** up? heart

God. I work at a BJ's Wholesale, and I don't know why, but the kids scream ALL THE ******** TIME. I'm amazed I still can hear with how those little assholes are. I was happy that one time, one of my customers smacked their kid to make them shut up. I honestly hate it when kids cry. It's the most annoying sound in the world.

Its funny I was just at a Kmart to get graph paper for school, and this white trash fat-a** woman had 5 kids, and they were all like, 2-6. And they were all crying.
The mom ignored them, until one of the boys started pulling out one of the little girl's hair.
She then said "Shut the ******** up you screaming s**t heads. i ******** tired of your damn s**t and whining. And STOP PULLING YOUR SISTERS DAMN HAIR OUT! I'M GETTING THE ******** OUT OF HERE!!!"
Mom and I were sitting there laughing forever.

Once I really wanted to hit a kid who was wining all over the place (in a Mexican taco's restaurant), I blame the parents (I ignore screaming kids, unless they feel down or something (NEVER SCREAM BACK, they only will become more annoying)). Only in the zoo there would be some babies and sometimes a kid who was crying. Most of the time because they fell down and had skin abrasions.
I admit, I don't go to places like McDonald. I think that sort of places are the worst (not only talking about the food quality).
I don't have a lot of kids in my neighbourhood =D, peace and quiet here.

kittycross I completely understand- and I have kids. Some people should not be alowed to breed. I think it's more an American cultural thing to raise kids to have no respect for other people and their feelings, or social propriety. American parents typically raise their kids to think they're the center of the world and end up with lazy, useless, selfish whining brats. Not all Amercans mind you, but it is a definite social trend It's like some people who want to have kids can't, while others seem to have children falling out of them at a rapid rate. :
