My body easily retains heat and I sweat real quickly. I hate it because I usually get this HUGE circle under my armpit that looks like I've been running track all day! I can't wear any of my nice shirts without jackets which only will make it worse.
I've tried every deoderant under the sun but nothing really seems to work. I also don't like the feeling when I lay my arm down. I'm unable to stretch out my arms in fear it'll show.
Mostly...it's just that I can't wear half the shirt I have. I'm forced to wear all dark colors. I don't really mind, but I don't want to wear the same black, dark brown shirt every week.
Can anyone help?

hmmm.. So you sweat even when you aren't nervous? Sometimes self-consciousness can cause you to be nevous and make you sweat... I have sweaty palms all year long... I like to think of it as a psycological thing but I might have a mild case of hyperhydrosis, which is what I think, is your case? You should definately ask a doctor about it =3 but I felt that I learnt more reading online articles than from the doctor XD There are solutions ofcourse, you can apply ointments and there are alcohol pads that make you sweat less? You can also get botox injected to squeeze against your nerves causing it to stop sweating and maybe temporarily feeling, altogether? or you can remove something inside under your armpits XD anyway, that's from what I read =3
showering or swimming might help?

showering or swimming might help? I shower everyday and yes, I sweat even when I'm not nervous. In fact, I usually don't notice it until one of my friends points out the large ring of sweat all around my armpit. It's embarrassing because I don't even notice it sometimes.

I have exactly the same problem. It gets so bad that even when my arms are down you can still see the wetness as it soaks further up. And the weird thing is I'm almost always very cold! I generally wear jackets or sweaters just because I'm cold. White shirts work well for not showing but all of the armpits of mine have been turned yellow for deodorant. I wish I could help but I haven't got a clue. I hope you find a solution because I would sure love to know as well.

I wish I could wear white but it's definetely not my color...I guess it's because I have a VERY fair complexion. Wearing black doesn't really help...more or less enhances the difference but oh well. I hate my sweating problem because there's times I don't want to cuddle with my boyfriend because I'm afraid he'll see/touch it...or if I want to hug other people. I'm naturally a very touchy person so it limits my fun time with others. I'm always wearing my hoodie and that's really the only reason why!

I understand your white issue as well. I'm so pale that I have had doctors actually stop me and check that I'm feeling alright and not about to faint... It's a bit sad. But generally when I buy clothes I just buy pieces I like even if they aren't perfectly flattering. I'm not much for fashion sweatdrop
I'm sure if you tell your boyfriend about it he won't really care. Everyone has flaws and if he really likes you then he can accept this little one. And you can always change your shirt and apply a little more deodorant before you sit down with him at home.

I have the same problem (yellow stains on white shirts and all).
My solution was just to stop caring. I wear what I want. Since most people are too polite to say anything anyway, I can just pretend that they don't notice wink
I wish I could be more helpful, though sad

There's actually a medical condition (I can't remember what it is though... hypo-something) which causes someone to have overactive sweat glands, so they sweat constantly and always very heavily.

Baby powerder (it's suppose to absorb wetness so I gave it a shot), alcohol pads, diferent deoderants.. NOthing works. Guess it's just one of those that you just have to bare it.

I never said that you have it, but it came to mind after reading your thread. It's called "hyperhidrosis". - http://www.parsec.it/summit/hyper1e.htm- http://www.sweathelp.org/English/- http://www.sts.org/doc/4097I read an article about hyperhydrosis once, in which a woman grew up with the "disorder". She ended up getting surgery done as an adult, and it really helped her.

I mentioned hyperhydrosis in my post and offered solutions. I guess not everyone wants to go to a doctor for it but you should definately consider the surgery if you are really self-conscious about it.

My doctor told me about drysol. Its this stuff that you put under you pits and sleep with it on but you wash it off in the morning. it stops you from sweating. it's good stuff. I've been using it for years now.
