Hey guys, I'm a 23(on July 31st) Year Old CA Vegan here!
I started with Veganism actually for Lent this year, since February I've only had meat once on Easter to break lent and nothing since.
It's done so much for my life, It's made me healthier, brighter, happier and much more clear.
I also had this very scary eye disease where I would see lots of multicolored spots and my vision would get dark, well since I started eating healthier it completely eradicated that problem and many others, like chronic headaches!
Also, I've been an animal lover my whole life and since there's no difference between my cats and a cow or chicken on a farm - they all deserve life, I'm not going to continue a lifestyle that promotes the cruelty and inhumane mistreatment of animals.
It's just not worth it to me to go back to an omnivorous lifestyle, Vegan is the best for animals, best for me and best for the environment.
Some of my favorite things to eat are:
Boca Burgers with Hummus, Avocado, Olives, Tomatoe, Romaine Lettuce, and Mustard.
A big salad with Romaine and Ice Berg Lettuce, Red Cabbage, Mandarin Oranges, Tomatoes, Beets, Avocado and Olives with an Italian and Vegetable Oil dressing with Salt and Pepper.
Simmered Kidney Beans with Spinach over rice.
Kashi Mini Shredded Wheat with Strawberries and Bananas and Soy Milk.
