Here in the Short Stories subforum you can post any story that shorter than two and a half pages. If you're not sure how long your story actually is, then open up a Word document and copypaste your story into it. If it's over two and a half pages than you need to post it in a different subforum. These stories can be any genre, but short story is technically a genre in itself, so if it's short enough it goes here.

DO:
post with literacy.
break up your stories into paragraphs.
specify if you want people to post on your story or not.
warn about any excessive swearing, violence, romance, etc.

DON'T:
get uppity when people give you their opinions.
flame, troll, or badmouth anyone.
post random nonsense.
post things that belong in a different subforum.
post anything over two and a half pages.
