 It was a very hot sunny day for all the soquili in the plains.Bright,hot,and very enjoyed.But this one mare out of the whole plains galloped after a butterfly in the middle of the field.She remembered how both her and her bestfriend,Niko,chased butterflies around as foals.It was indeed her favorite thing to do.Linnie raced after the butterfly,but as soon as it swooped up in the air Linnie reared up trying to grab for it.Seeing it fly off she huffed.Spotting another one out of the corner of her eye she sprinted off after it.She tried to same exact things as before as she chased after it."Hey you come back here!"Linnie yelled at the butterfly as she ran after it.Her hooves beat against the ground,her tail flapping in the wind.

 At that exact moment another pony was out doing pretty much the same thing...but instead of butterflies this one was chasing shadows that the butterflies, birds and other things were leaving on the ground. This stallion was a very energetic one...he always found something fun to do. That and he could never be still.
Riley was really paying attention to anything but the the shadow of a bird and hadn't noticed that a mare was chasing a butterfly and they were close to colliding.

Linnie also didn't notice the stallion.The butterfly flew right over the stallion.She didn't know until the last minute that the stallion was there.Raming into him she yelped and blinked.Seeing the butterfly fly off she huffed."I'm really sorry.I apologize,i wasn't watching where i was going!"She got up quickly and tried to help up the stallion.She kept her eye on that butterfly though.

Riley let out an "Oomff" as he collided with the mare. He blinked a few times as he hadn't found anyone to play with, other than shadows, in a while. "That's ok! I wasn't either." He said in his happy voice. He got back up and watched her gaze, "What were you chasing?" She had to be on the chase too...maybe they could chase together?

Linnie giggled at the stallion."Well atleast neither of us are hurt!"Looking at the stallion she smiled."A Butterfly.what about you?"linnie bounced in her place,she was indeed excited.

"Yeah!" He agreed, wouldn't it have been terrible if he had hurt the first pony he had ran into in ages? "Well, I was after that... shadow?" The shadow was gone as the bird had flown away during the horse-collision. I"m Riley, by the way."

Linnie smiled."A Shadow!?Your silly!"Looking at the stallion she laughed.Boy was he too cute,he sure reminded her of Niko,her bestfriend."Linnie,Its a pleasure."

Riley laughed, "I guess so!" He probably was silly, but he was happy that way. "It's nice to meet you. Wanna play something?" He liked having company and someone to play with.
