"I used to be royal guard...and it's true. Just like those half-humans. Anything that they didn't have a hand they automatically want to "cleanse" it. I remember having a order that wanted me to find a family that had a halfie in it and kill them all. Although I "never" found them." He said with a shrug, he did find them. But he wasn't a monster.
"Actually, I hope his creations can prove themselves. If they can find some where in humanity then go for it, if their public enough then people might want to keep them around. They have to be giving a positive effect. Think hero; entertainers, maybe even explores." He said, his own plan of using one to get his place back in the royal guard he'd keep to himself.

Rosalie was shocked to find this out. Svetlanna was a very kindhearted woman, who cared a lot for the lives of these creatures. Rosalie herself only accepted the job because she needed the money, but she planned on using what funds they did give her to her own luxury while in Nuan. She just needed to get away from her boss, so this trip ended up being useful after all.
She nodded with each word the two across from her had said. "So, does that mean that you would condone something that the government seeks to destroy?" she asked in total curiosity. She didn't mean to come off offensive or rude by asking such a question, for she was truly interested in what the woman had to say.
When the man said he was from the royal guard, that peaked her interest in him a bit. "And you...being one of the royal guards yourself, are also holding the position that the government should take a hike, get better things to do than to worry about some mad scientist on the loose?" she asked.
She defended the position of the government solely because she worked for them. Though, her personal feelings were borderline the same as these two she shared the cabin with. She had thought that having a child created differently than nature intended would definitely be interesting. She half-hoped to meet the man just so that she could figure out the way he did his work.

"To be frank, yes I do condone what the government seeks to destroy. They are no more important than I am or yourself despite the fancy title they carry. We are all human beings and deserve a chance of living in peace no matter how we came into this existence."
Svetlanna knew there was high chance of her words damaging her standings with the public but if they were her true fans and actually loved the music she gave them then her views on this subject really wouldn't bother them.

He leaned forward as he listen to the two women talk. Their voices were both so intoxicating but the discussion was much more thought provoking at the moment. "Well Svetlanna, to them they have to keep their approval. If they sense that anything could damage or question it they act. I'm a good example of that." He said smiling as he turned his head to look at Rosalie.
"I had been a royal guard...yes and no. I think that keeping an eye is okay. What I'm more annoyed with is the fact their not taking advantage of this. These creatures from what I heard can hold their own against a Snapper hound. I can tell you from experience with these animals it takes at least six well armed guards with preparation of a trap to even hope of taking one down. If I had of been one of the higher officers I would of said give him a lab, tell him they want a training program." He said nodding his head to her.

Rosalie smiled at both of their willingness to go against such powerful people. She nodded. She agreed with almost everything they were saying. Instead of destroying the creatures, why didn't they use them as a way to look towards the future and all the possible things that could evolve from them.
She was definitely surprised by this, for Svetlanna was so open about her distaste for the government. To be honest, Rosalie didn't enjoy a whole lot of their policies either, but she needed to at least follow the rules set before her to keep her job at the newspaper. She needed that job to live. She probably wouldn't be hired anywhere else, so she had to at least say she agreed to their terms before making a fool of herself and being thrown out of the building.
Rosalie kept quiet for the next few moments, jotting down some of the key points the two made, making them anonymous for their own safety. Giving the name of an ex-guard would be quite terrible as would be giving away just the name, 'Svetlanna'. She made sure to use false names as to not allow these two to be brought to justice, for she knew that if either of them were as open with a royal guard as they were just now, they'd be thrown into the prison chambers under the royal palace. She wasn't about to allow her idol go down in flames.
She looked back up at the two of them after finishing what she had wrote and sticking the pen and notepad into her bag. She figured that would be a good start to her story. She looked out the window where she could see nothing but cement and brick. The tunnel was small and compact, allowing the tram to travel at accelerated speeds. She watched the design in the brick pass by, restarting again and again ever once in a while. The wait was upon her. Nuan was sure to be closer and closer with each passing second.

The deafening silence that held the car they were in captive and the repetitive rocking had both calmed Svetlanna's nerves, but also caused her to drift into her thoughts. However, this time they were not clouded by the horrors of her past. In fact, her thoughts were consumed by the Hraapea and their creator. So there was a chance be it rumor or not that he would be there in the very town she was headed. While she would love to have the chance to sit with him and talk more of his children, she hoped dearly that his existence in Nuan was a rumor.
The thought of him being executed because of his scientific breakthrough that could benefit society and change the course of the future was unsettling. Why was it, that so many people couldn't see past their own mundane lives without fearing the unknown? Why couldn't they just greet it and face down the possible adventure that would add some meaning to their lives? That's right. How could she forget. To do so would mean to face a challenge of difficulty head on and with these people, they wanted everything to be easy or handed to them.
A sigh left her lips and before she knew it their train had come to rest in the station of Nuan. Just how long had she been lost within her own musings? Slowly she stood, straightening out her sun dress and hat.
"Looks like this is us."

Jonas had also drifted off into his own thoughts. He knew the rumors had to be true. The came much to suddenly and with way to much constant agreement. he knew what that meant, from his time as a guard. It was either true or just some very well designed joke. He had to admit though he was disappointed at the government.
He knew it wasn't something that he could deal with right now but maybe later. As of currently he had to follow the usual flow of any operation. Intel, planning, execution. He was still stuck in the intel stage, once he was sure his intel was solid with the needed information. Scientist location, identity, and possible hazards then he would create a plan to get close to him and get what he wanted. Then he would execute it, make alterations as he go. Get the child and make his escape. The train wouldn't be safe, he have to huff it with the child.
The sound of the sigh from Svetlanna brought him back to the world. Then the sudden stop of the train. "Yes it is..." he said standing up and holding the door open to the women offering them his hand. Jonas knew he was distracted but that didn't matter to much to him right now. Here he was in Nuan for a concert. He'd have time to do some quick recon to the local bars.

Throughout her time in the tram, she began to acquire a headache of sorts. Her writing on the tram and jotting down any and all notes she could of these two's thoughts were jumbling her brain. The movement throughout the tram ride was beginning to make her stomach churn. She wasn't one for transportation at any rate. She would definitely need to find somewhere to go right after the tram ride was over to get some medication.
She smiled as the ride came to an end. "Oh, yeah. Here's our stop. I am going to be so glad to be off this tram. It makes me sick sitting on this thing. That's why I normally stay in Aerr and no where else." she said, stepping off the tram as the man held the door open for her. She felt her stomach cringe. She wasn't hungry, definitely more sick than anything.
She didn't want to completely ignore the others, but she did have to sign into the inn soon and she didn't want to be late. Of course, she couldn't stand the thought of leaving her idol's side, but she knew that she had to do something. "I need to be on my way. I really wish you two the best of luck. Hopefully I'll be able to come to the concert tonight. I just don't feel well and have to get to the inn before it gets too late. I hope that isn't a problem?" she said, smiling. She wanted to wait for a response before leaving, but she did feel quite sick. Either way she ended up deciding to leave soon after, making her way down the cobblestone path towards the inn.

Svetlanna whispered a thanks of gratitude when Jonas held the door open before venturing of the tram. Once on the platform, she looked around for a moment or two to get her bearings before looking to the clock that sat on the far left wall. She still had plenty of time. Good. If there was one things that she never was, it was late. Punctuality was very important to her so when Rosalie mention that she needed to be on her way she completely understood.
"It isn't a problem in the slightest. I hope you can make it to the concert tonight but if you can not then so be it. I'll simply have to give you your own personal show when time allows it."
With a curt nod, she looked to Jonas and began walking in the direction she was given by the written instructions her manager has left for her.

Jonas gave a smile at the two as he helped them off the train and followed behind the Opera singer silently. "It was nice being in your company." He said keeping his smile before looking at Svetlanna. "Is this your first time in Nuan?" He asked as he walked beside her.
He looked at the buildings with a mild interest. This town seemed the exact same since he was here all those years ago. As he looked toward the walls that surrounded the town he took noticed that the guards seemed so lazy and spreed out. He gave a slight frown but kept it to himself.
"The town is the same since I was last here. Although the defenses aren't as they used to be." He said with a slight shrug.

"Indeed it is. Most of my performances have either been in Aerr or Korr."
Svetlanna continued her stride, the click of her heels against the ground creating a steady rythm. Emerald eyes looked from left to right as she looked for anything particular landmark that would clue her in on where the opera house would be. When she found nothing, she looked to Jonas.
"Would you happen to know where the opera house might be?"

"Korr?" He said a little surprised, it was a place that he despised with all of his heart. Well ever sense he got that hook in him walking by a fisherman he hated it.
He stayed silent as he walked beside her, he did however look at her ever now and then to remember just how lucky he was today.
He didn't respond quickly as he pictured the city in his head from when he was a child. That had been so long ago it was a challenge. "Yes I do madam. It's farther up this street."
"If you don't mind me asking madam, why are you interested in Hraapea's? You seemed in deep thought during our conversation with that reporter. " He said looking at her as he walked.
