~~~Connor~~~ About: Connor is a book worm who always seems to be questing to become something while forgetting to just be himself. Be polite. Be serious. Be tough. Be adventurous. This guy’s self perception is wound so tight if you pull hard enough he might just spring! As per adjectives he is quiet and tries to be serious in front of others but becomes easily panicked when confronted with a situation he’s never faced before. His head is always in some adventure so sometimes it’s hard to keep his attention but once you have it you’ve gained a loyal friend.
History: Connor’s parents were wine makers who lived on a small vineyard outside a village. His memories of this place are very few. He was separated from his parents as a toddler when a huge fire engulfed the village during the busiest time of the day. In a panic by villagers, without his parents realizing, he was taken with a group of children and rushed far away. It had been an attempt to save his life but cost him dearly. To this day he has little memory of what his parents look like and, at times, wants find the village he was born in and see them again. However, he fears he wouldn’t find them alive so he stays away.
Likes: Adventure books, wooded areas, traveling, writing in his journal, and mementos.
Dislikes: The dark and crowds.
Relationships
Emori, foxtaur of Makokun’s – Emori is a carefree, playful taur that Connor met when he was a small child. The two became fast friends and Connor, having met few other taur in his short life, grew very attached to Emori. Age and miles, however, distanced the two and before you could blink an eye they had grown up apart – something that caught Connor off guard. To this day he feels grateful for Emori’s friendship but wishes to see his friend again. Tavok, Emori’s older brother, was the inspiration for Connor to live on his own in isolation – hell bent on becoming stronger – to impress Emori.
Caden, cattaur of Makokun’s – This guy. This guy manages to somehow find Connor in the middle of a bog and proceed to – how should we say – torture him. Caden enjoys teasing, torturing, and even sometimes flirting with Connor which puts the guy in a very awkward place; cracking the persona he has developed for years. But at the end of the day Connor can’t help but feel warm towards the cattaur because he, more or less, gave him a reason to leave the bog.

~~~Miguel Dominguez Alvarez~~~ About: Miguel is a gentle, loving taur with a passion for romance. He loves literature and enjoys few things more than a book by a fire. Well, aside from his lovers. Miguel is a hopeless romantic who can never find his Mrs. or Mr. Right. Sometimes he wonders if he’s destined for little else than reading of true love.
History: Having grown up with a house full of children he is used to things like crowds, noise, and lots and lots of taurs. His parents weren’t baby machines, oh no, they were foster parents. This need to help others was engrained within him from an early age and cemented his nature. So why can’t he seem to hold onto a mate? How is it that this gentle, loving, intelligent taur always ends up with his heart broken?
Well, he’s a poor judge of character.
Likes: Romance, the moon, spinach pizza, and teaching.
Dislikes: Being alone, curse words, ignorance.

Now if only his matrons would explain to him what “it” was!
History: Yukito has lived his entire life in the mountains and hasn’t seen anyone who wasn’t a harpy. He hears older harpies who have traveled farther from their nests speak of taur and he finds himself fascinated with them. But, though he’d never admit it, he’s scared to fly away. While he’s heard many good things he’s also heard many terrible stories… Yukito is educated on their history and the well of remorse he carries is as deep as the cursed forest.
Likes: Pretty things and pretty people.
