In celebration of summer, a group of college students (From California College of the Arts), leave from San Francisco, to go to Malibu during their much-too-short vacation. They are currently staying in the Huntley Hotel, hoping to find adventure relaxation, and maybe romance.

Cameron stepped out of her cherry red mustang convertible and slammed her door shut. She dropped her car keys into her bag as her best friend, Skyler, grabbed her things from the back seat. Cameron walked around the car to help Skyler carry everything.
“Should we wait here for everyone else to show up?” Cameron asked, shutting the car door with her foot.
“Nah” Skyler replied, shifting her bag onto her shoulder. “I’m sure they’ll find us.”
Cameron shrugged. “Mkay. Let’s go then.”
The two girls walked through the parking lot and onto the sand. They found a near-empty spot close to the water and set all of their things down.
“I think this place has enough room for everyone. And it’s close to the volleyball nets” Cameron said happily, laying her towel on the ground and sitting on it.
“Yeah, when everyone decides to show up” Skyler replied.
Cameron laughed. “They’ll be here.”
“I know” Skyler said as she layed down on her towel.
Cameron rolled her eyes and pulled out her cell phone.

The noise of a small bell caught Cameron’s attention. She looked to see a vender offering frozen yogurt and snow cones. She dug through her purse for her wallet. Cameron found it and tucked it into the back pocket of her shorts. “Hey Sky, I’m gonna go get a snow cone. You want anything?”
“No thanks” Skyler answered without looking up.
“Mkay” Cameron stood up and walked across the sand.
“Hi” Cameron greeted the man pushing the cart.
“Hi” he repeated “What can I get you?”
“Umm, can I have a cherry snow cone?” she asked.
“Sure thing” He answered. The man reached into his cart and scooped out some ice. He put it into a cone and poured red liquid over it.
“That’ll be four bucks” He smiled, handing it to her.
Cameron handed him a five dollar bill. He reached into his pocket for change.
“Keep it” Cameron said, turning and walking back across the beach.
“Hey, I’m back” Cameron greeted Skyler.
“Hey” Skyler replied, sitting up. “Is everyone here yet?” she asked.
Cameron sat down on her own towel and began eating her snow cone. “I don’t know, no one has texted me back”
