Society: Lustian society is often divided into different ranks of social class. The residents' society is largely as hierarchical, with slaves (servi) at the bottom, freedmen (liberti) above them, and free-born citizens (cives) above that, and then of course the Nobles. Free citizens are themselves also divided by class. The broadest, and earliest, division was between the patricians, who could trace their ancestry to one of the 100 Patriarchs at the founding of the city, and the plebeians, who could not.
Daily Life for Non-nobles: Mostly agricultural, based on tradition with many festivals in the towns.
Noted for: Arts (Opera, painting, sculpting) and architecture. Romantic Society.
Terrain: Lust has a coastline of 7,600 kilometres (4,700 mi) on the Irqouia, Eyrien, Twithinan and Chamagnes Sea.
Lust is a mountainous country, with the Desris as the northern boundary and the Fand Mountains forming the backbone of the peninsula, but in between the two lies a large plain in the valley of Want, the largest river in Lust, which flows 652 km (405 mi) eastward from the Clandestine Alps to the Irqouia.
The Capital, Easterly lies in the southern most region of the peninsula, overlooking fjords of the tumultuous seas.
Military: Lust rejects war as a means for settling international controversies and as an instrument of aggression against the freedoms of others peoples; it agrees, on conditions of equality with other states, to the limitations of sovereignty necessary for an order that ensures peace and justice among Nations; it promotes and encourages international organizations having such ends in view.
However, when the need arises, (and it has) Lust is quick to defend themselves.

H i s t o r y : Micah is the eldest daughter of Lust, she is also one of the most disliked by her father. Richard (the king of lust) met an angel named Salina, his sin instantly got the best of him and he bedded her. This single act of lust, of passion resulted in Micah's conception. Salina allowed the king to know that a child was on it's way and he was pleased. Praying for a son who would not be a disappointment to him. When Micah was finally born, the labor was difficult and sadly the angel mother did not make it. Offering her life to save her daughters.
Richard took pity upon Micah, after all she was his daughter, but as she grew and began to look more and more like her mother his hate for his daughter grew. Plus she was a constant reminder of his sin, of his weakness. Micah grew and flourished as a princess, never really knowing her father only when she occasionally saw him. Yet he looked at her with disgust. When the Princess turned sixteen she was sent away to court and before hand she really kept to herself. Not wanting to find or be a burden. She would have her nose in a book. Which sacrificed her relationships with her siblings.
While at court the Princess caught the eye of a certain royal. Actually many royals took great interest in the fair skinned princess. But this one in particular was charming, older and more mysterious than the others. When she first met him, she wasn't aware of who he was. Rather that information came later. He was charming and swept the young princess off of her feet only to break her heart and take advantage of her sin and took her virtue with out her permission. She later learned that it was none other than the King of Hubris. This single act lead Micah to disliking the hubris kingdom.
It also lead to her learning how to fight and to become a master swordsmen so that no other man, or being would be able to take advantage of her. She trained daily till she was able to use her weapon of choice, a curved blade, to perfection. After she acquired the knowledge of how to properly use this blade she moved onto learning how to use the fighting style fan. She is still learning how to use this one but she is getting there.
As time ticked the Princess learned to move past the things that had happened in her past. Soon becoming back to herself and developing into a charming young woman with a bright future. P e r s o n a l i t y : Micah is extremely flirtatious, her sin more or less a close companion to her. She is sociable and kind but at times she allows her darker side to slip free and can become consumed by her demonic side. Which leads to her having a short temper, a sharp tongue. And if pushed to far out bursts of rage. What she's capable of doing when pushed the the breaking point are things she'd not wish to happen.
The princess also has a very protective side to her, especially when it comes to her younger siblings (Lorelei and Cat). It has grown over the years she has spent at court and the time she was robbed from being a young girl. She hopes that if she's able to protect her siblings, they will not share the same fate that she had with the King. Hoping that she might be able to spare them from the tempting arms of a man or woman who may wish to harm them. In particular her youngest sister, Lorelei, who would likely draw much attention to herself. (With her voice being so tempting.)
Regardless of what her siblings may feel toward her, she loves each of them. While her feelings toward her father are...complicated. She appreciates him taking her in yet she could careless for him. Her heart is as cold as stone when it comes to him. As his seems to be for her. L i k e s : She enjoys reading, along with learning how to use different weapons. Micah also enjoys horse back ridding the feel of the wind as it brushes against her face and the freedom it gave her. A freedom that she never had at home or in the court. Other things she enjoys are being in the company of nature, flirting with men and woman who catch her eye.
D i s l i k e s : Micah highly dislikes ignorance or those who wish to seek harm against her family or loved ones. She dislikes confrontations and tries to avoid them if possible. It typically looks like a bolt of pure white light shooting from her hands. This power can effectively electrocute the person it is aimed at and with concentration Micah is able to control how much is used. Anywhere from a small zap for a warning or an extremely high voltage charge meant to kill. This form of attack can stop the heart, or short circuit the brain ending the persons life. ]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r W e a k n e s s e s : This ability takes a lot out of Micah and it tends to drain her if she uses to much of this power or to often. Micah must not be touching water or be near when using this ability for it will back lash and she will end up zapping herself and because water is a good conductor of electricity (unless it is pure water with no impurities) it will backlash against her. As I said before it takes a lot out of Micah and it also takes large amounts of concentration the slightest distraction can lead to a catastrophe. This ability also is affected by her mood, in particular rage. When she is angry her demonic side rears it's head and that is where this ability is drawn from. If she becomes to angry the power will become unstable and she will be unable to control it. H i s t o r y : Lorelei was born last of the Gavini daughters, which would have earned her the right to misbehave like a cretin, considering she'd never have to worry about ruling. She did when she had the chance, earning her the nickname “Imp” from the staff that was allowed to see her. However, she didn't have the chance to utilize that pet name for long, being that Richard, upon hearing her voice, decided that he hated her, loathed her because she couldn't possibly be his.
Whether or not she is a legitimate child of the Gavini line is still quite the scandal, as while she resembles her mother, neither one of her parents are sirens, and she is – fully, if only inexperienced. Her haunting voice has been something to set tongues wagging about the adulteress queen, and Richard remains steadfast on the fact that she was conceived by another.. Due to this, Lorelei has always been met by scorn and loathing from her sire, who has a tendency to fall into a fit of rage where she is concerned. Upon the doting she was so obviously receiving caused by the sweet, persuading inflections of her voice, Richard forbade her from being a part of the court, bidding her to the shadows while they kept guests. It it was decreed, when he discovered that she'd been fraternizing with a few people from Avarice, that she was never going to be a part of the Lustian court, and that she would never be permitted to leave Easterly Castle.
The truth of her blood, is that she is the queen's daughter, but not Richard's. Corrine was met by the father of all sirens, and stole several of her nights to tangle with his own. She conceived Lorelei from this affair, and he knew the instant that she had a pulse. Carefully, he explained the hardships that would face their child, that... due to the breed of siren that he was and the strength he possessed – Lorelei would not be any part of her mother once she met adulthood, in truth... Corrine was just a vessel to carry the babe. The princess would have the marks of her mother's beauty, but the beguiling sensuality... her entire being would be like her sire's. And, any remnants of humanity would be lost upon Lorelei gaining carnal knowledge, and the magic coursing through his veins would become her own – purifying her.
The years prior to that, would need to be painstaking, instilling in her a sense of morality, for without it... a princess in a Lustian Court could bring the men of other courts to their knees. So Corrine carefully raised Lorelei, doing as her lover had instructed.
Though, the queen could not shield Lorelei from everything, especially the guilt that would follow her if the moral fiber was plucked at. Some time ago, a general happened upon the hallway where her chambers rested, and Lorelei at a tender age didn't understand the need to hold her tongue. Upon hearing the voice of what he deemed as an Angelic muse, the man attempted to find the haunting voice, and found only the tethers of his sanity slip away... Never again the same. This incident happened a few times, and when the siren learned of it
Fifteen is the legal age of adulthood in her Kingdom, and with the age, the submissive princess became, unknowingly the reserved woman that she'd seen her mother be, but the hints of her puckish personality remains in her expressions when she isn't so stressed. She continued with her lessons as expected, fighting the trouble that has a penchant to hang about her every step of the way. With the realization and maturity of the problem on whether or not she is actually a Gavini, Lorelei has become the constant watcher, given no other option.
Only those hired to attend her, and her family members came in contact with the princess. Occasionally, there was a guest or a knight that fell her way.. but... even the maids that waited on her were switched frequently, giving the princess no chance to make any friends outside of the Muses who taught her in violin. It has been said of them, that they gifted her with the talent, that if she could make a public performance.. no other in all the realms would compete with its musical beauty.
With war roaring upon their kingdom, her and her siblings have been ordered away for safe keeping, and this is her first time out of the castle. Because of her troublesome powers, a watchful eye had been placed over her with great care, and her parents can only hope that Lorelei's voice and appearance won't cause more misfortunes than her playful antics.
Having all the warnings in her memory, the siren is fearful of what she would be come, were she to submit to her sin. Untrained, she has been a wrecking ball to several who have crossed her path... not ever wishing harm upon those who have been snared. But there is a part of her, much deeper trying to claw its way out... to gently coax men and women to her whims. She's determined not to allow this, but with the pending marriage to Haven Greene, it looks as though she has no other option.
Since reaching the castle, what has transpired in Lorelei's story is as follows:
Lorelei arrived on her own to Veritas' realm, in a compartment carriage full of her siblings belongings. Almost immediately, the young princess made friends with the gardener, who showed her the places of delightful scenery, shared fruits with her, and allowed her to choose her room. Due to how kind the wolf had been to her, Lorelei will likely always remain a faithful comrade to him.
Equally as soon, she met one Alexander Bellerose, the then heir to the Hubrisian throne. Staunchly attracted to him, Lorelei fought what she saw, believing his personality to be in complete discord to her own. Admittedly it was, and he was one of few who could bring out the ire that bubbled through her. The first night brought a masquerade, and by the end of the night, she found him to be her dancing partner, where she almost bestowed a kiss. Her eldest sister intervened, claiming she was seeking to protect her from the wretch, who would only use her if the sin awakened. In all the queen's efforts, she failed in creating a strong woman – the princess broke at the first twinge of death. So now, Lorelei is detrimental, and quite possibly a weapon unless she can hold her ground.. (A fact that Nathaniel Wood has picked up upon.)
Not taking Micah's heed, Lorelei turned, declaring that it was her choice to make... and Micah swiftly killed the heir. Devastated, Lorelei sought out the comfort of another individual, who just happened to be there with an understanding heart. His name was Lucas Masterson, one of the sons in the noble Masterson line. He fell for her quickly, and were she not so devastated, she might have succumbed to the promises he offered. She also befriended that of Nathaniel Wood, the heir to Envy who she can oft be seen in company with.
As it stood, for a time... Lorelei was haunted by Alexander, whether she was delusional with guilt, or he was an actual being still has yet to be determined, but he deterred her from allowing Lucas to be too close. Shortly after Lucas took his leave of the safe haven, she made friends with Ryan and Nathaniel; Veritas paired her and the heir of Fortitude to be married, whom she views as doomed for having her serve as his wife. Haven too, has begun to fall, and she feels most guilty for this, for he is perhaps the one person who shouldn't.
Since the betrothal announcement, Lorelei has made acquaintances with Kirios, Corrine and Evony – the latter one she's afraid to consort with, merely because she discovered that her big brother is in fact the serial killer in the castle. What with her gentle nature, the siren does not want to disillusion the young princess about the future heir. For now, she's the sweet tempered princess that many adore... and she can only hope that this will remain.
P e r s o n a l i t y : Lorelei is a reserved personality. Submissive to a fault, Lorelei puts everyone before herself. She's unsure of herself, has a kind heart and truly believes that she's a danger to most everyone around her.

P o w e r : The power of a temptress is quite easily one of the most bogging abilities to define, in the long of the short of things, Lorelei possess the abilities of a siren, which all the facets of her power can be described in one word, seduction. The most potent of this could be described as a very specific form of luring hypnosis – concentrated in a combination of a few areas. Those are: hearing, sight, touch, scent and charm.
I've listed each, with a level of effectiveness, of which would be likely induce the strongest reaction on a scale of one to ten, ten being the strongest. For the sake of ease, I've written this in mind of the effects that hypnosis will have, but one must realize, that the two aren't one in the same – that, unlike hypnosis... one does not have to be willing to be hypnotized. Often, a siren can snare whomever she dares to try. (This being within reason of the players – no godmoding. As per usual.)
A siren's power is much like hypnosis in the way that it is the psychic ability to put one into a trance-like state of extreme suggestibility. However, instead of making someone sleepy, a siren's effect creates a fervor, something that if they are well and truly hooked, the effects can be permanent.
A siren's lure works parallel to the other effects of her power. It draws subjects to come to her (and to reach her destination by any means necessary, even if dangerous obstacles are in the way of the path which leads to the user). It can be used on multiple subjects at a time. The effectiveness of this is probably a 4, considering all the work is subconscious right now.
Lorelei speaks with a calm and soothing, melodious voice which can place subjects into a state of extreme suggestibility; this voice often triggers wants that a subject might have, the notes in her voice a teasing flame under their desires. It is most effective while she is looking into a subject's eyes, or is touching them but this can work on its own... leaving promises of unmentionable passion in her underlying tone. The effects of her song knows no language barrier. This is something Lorelei cannot shut off – ergo, the effects of this are a high ranking 8. Most of the time, Lorelei attempts to repress it but it comes with very limited success.
A siren's song is vocally emitting a beautiful song that entrances people and subliminally compels them to either follow any predetermined orders given by the user in the song in hope to satiate their lust, and subsequently to try to reach the source of the song, no matter what dangerous obstacles are in the way of the path. A true siren's song is hard to fight against, and of all the effects that can cause a permanent want, one who falls victim to this will not be able to shake it down for at least a week, but in other sirens it has been known to cause a permanent longing within the victim, their voice always something they long to hear.. just one more sweet note. It haunts them, and they'll never, even if recovered hear something so beautiful. Please note that Lorelei's voice always chimes, but it's not a true song unless I use the word “singing.” This is like to never happen, considering the devastating effect it can have on the character, and something I would only use given an expressed request from a player. The effectiveness when she comes to full power will be a 10.
Locking eyes with a siren while she speaks is a huge mistake. This seemingly-simple locking of gazes can deactivate the inhibitions of subjects (thus placing them into a state of extreme suggestibility, while sometimes also producing mindless effects within the subject’s mind), and serves as a way to strengthen the other parts of her working against them. The effectiveness is a 5.
Charm – As if the candied tones weren't enough, the appearance of a siren is naturally something that might take one's interest. This isn't to say that all sirens will appear beautiful to everyone, but that some sort of magic makes them attract attention... good and bad. Granted, many a men will state they've never seen anything quite so haunting. Others may simply find a siren's web of seduction something that makes their mouth water.
Lorelei's charm: By the standards of society, Lorelei would be deemed attractive before the magic that wells within her could coil its fingers about a potential victim. The most prominent part of her charm currently is that she's an air of innocence, displaying (perhaps deceptively) that she doesn't mean for any of her siren's abilities to snare them. This tends to bring people in all the same. Note: that this is the easiest of Lorelei's magic to deflect. Effectiveness of this: 6
The scent - everything about Lorelei to her victim draws them in.. her scent is no exception to this, it's intoxicating, something a victim will want another whiff of, to breathe her in as though it will make them closer. She smells of sweet promises of seduction -- something a victim would be hard pressed to deny. The scent, if they get heady from being exposed for too long, would last hours, and be a memory that they long to recover. Effectiveness of this : 4 at current mastery.
Touch – Touch is the last part of snaring a victim. If the prey has fallen to any of her other wiles, touch is the easiest to administer. Her kiss will leave a burning, a want for more. The satin feel of her skin will leave a victim cold without her around, a tantalizing flame licking at the whole of them when she grants them affection. It's the last impression they'll have of her, and every promise that the other assets of her power give off... is confirmed with this.
But it's a double edged sword for Lorelei. Touch, in those of Lust is a comfort thing.. and can spiral out of control and into addiction. Because of this, it's hard for Lorelei to stop, once started. So while she can muster an addiction in a victim, the victim can do the same to her. Of all the things that a siren can do, Lorelei is the most apprehensive of this. With the throws of a night with a lover... Lorelei will become a full-fledged siren, wherein the darker parts of her personality will be able to push aside the more submissive princess, and cater to their own whims. Effectiveness of this: 8

These all work in congruency with each other, one power... that of her blood, but because it is who she is... the power is never shut off. It can be repressed, dampened... but never will the song from her voice be truly gone. With concentration, Lorelei can be quite persuasive, ascertaining anything she could possibly want.

With all the power she has, Lorelei resents it. The powers of a siren are constantly at work, constantly thwarting any attempts she makes at having friends. Platonic friends. The constant waves of seduction puts her in danger of being attacked, should someone without self control happen upon her and become enraptured, the victims tend to get violent.
Because of her sin, Lorelei is as much a victim as her prey, so long as she is unwilling to give up her innocence. As the sin feeds into her power, she can become lost in it, abandoning the morals that she so dearly clings to.
]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r M a s t e r y : 5 as her mastery increases in this, Lorelei will be able to amplify or redirect the hypnotic persuasion. IE, getting two people to sleep together because it's advantageous.
P o w e r : Communicative Telepathy – this is the ability to communicate via a mind link that Lorelei can open or close with another being. So long as she knows the person, she can try and link to them, and hold a conversation without anyone being the wiser.
]xxxxxxxxxx P o w e r S t r e n g t h s : The strength of this, is that she doesn't have to be within sight of someone for it to work. This can be just a few miles off, and depending on how well she knows the person she's trying to reach, the conversation will come in lucidly.
Another strength of this could also be considered a weakness. Due to the fact that Lorelei is a full siren, her magic carries through the link... invading their mind with her song more potent than what it would be in the air.
She can hold the link open, for those who don't possess the ability.
