These were for my college assignment. In my case, it was a set of images relating to Dark Romanticism, and Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy - specifically the first part; Inferno. o1} The Hangingo2} Fraudo3} Cocytus {warning: "mature" content}Thanks for looking. x

Wow, I really like both of them!
However, I absolutely HATE big text on photographs WITH A PASSION! They take so much from a picture! It is so distracting! Its hard to get the point of the photo when you get punched in the face with text. If you have to put text on the front of a picture I would suggest using small text with similar colors shared with the bit of the picture that is behind it.

Thanks. :3
I agree text can be distracting. However, these are just watermarks for display on my site. I did try with different effects, such as just using an outline to make it "clear", and varying sizes. For now, this is what I'm happy with. ^_^ The actual prints didn't have a watermark.
Personally, I think text CAN work with an image, if it suits the style. I've seen some lovely ones. : )

I agree that some pictures look good with text, like I don't think that the first picture that you posted suffers to much distraction from the text because the picture is complicated, and there are things around the text to draw the eye back into the picture, but the second one doesn't really have that in it, so I found myself staring at the lettering more than the model.

Thanks for your input, anyway. : D
I suppose I just don't get as distracted by other elements.

I have a question for those in charge, but didn't know where else to put it. xD
If I wanted to add another photo which was mature in content (i.e. nudity), would this be allowed? ^^
I will also try to get round to displaying the non-watermarked versions of my existing photos, since I can get some comments on the picture, rather than the signature.
Thanks. : 3

Though I do know that nude photography is beautiful and artistic, it is against the guild rules to post the pictures (Though I don't mind you posting a link to your DA or what ever other site you have them on), and I believe it is also against Gaia rules as well. . .
Thank you very much for asking first! heart

Ok, I've removed the text from the existing two images, and added a third image. This contains nudity. :3
