Divine May Venum Some may think I’m evil, but their wrong. I’m just not that nice if your pathetic, it’s your fault not mine. My views are different than others, I’m bored, could you blame me? Personally, a change is bound to come… Maybe I’ll help it along… ▶ ▷「 Divine got tired of being in the school, with people who couldn’t keep their mouths shut, or girls talking about Sam, that name was increasingly going around the school, if there was a girl who didn’t have sex with him, then girls where talking about wanting to have sex with him. The whole thing was disgusting, it left a foul taste in her mouth, seeing how the last time she saw Sam, was when Adriane decided to jump in his bones. The woman wanted too, it was clear, she tried to hold back and failed, with much success she managed to stay away from the two. Finding they didn’t want anything to do with them for a long while. Her plan was to come to the lake, where it would hopefully be quiet for the most part, with her was, a towel that was black. With it resting on the ground underneath a tree she sat down, with her back firmly resting against the trunk. Her light blue long sleeved shirt felt cool against the tree, though her legs stayed warm against the skinny jeans that hugged her form, those however, were black. The last thing that didn’t quite keep her warm was the flats that she was wearing. Black with “jewels” on the top of them, but that didn’t matter, for if she did get cold, she also brought a blanket with her. Followed by a book that brought her under the tree in the first place, as her fingers opened the first page she began to read while everything around her stayed still. 」◀ ◁

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It was a breezy afternoon on the grounds. Morgan had taken the time to change out of her uniform before heading outside and bee-lining for the trees. She was now in muggle clothes consisting of sweat pants and a tank top, covered with a front zipping hooded jacket. It was much easier to protect her modesty while climbing trees in this outfit. Skirts were made for looks, not function. With a little jump, Morgan was able to grab the lowest tree branch and swing herself up into the large tree. She felt like working on balance today. The tree grew in such a way that the branches spread out like an umbrella; there were plenty of fairly straight ones for her to walk on.
She chose her steps carefully as she navigated around the trunk and out onto one of the longer branches. It reached almost all the way to the neighboring tree. Morgan walked out onto the branch and, with a few long strides, made the leap from her tree to the new one not noticing that Divine was lounging under it. The new branch shook with the force of Morgan's landing, but held her. It did, however, send down a light shower of leaves and twigs.

Famine had a few hours until his next class, and he felt it would be a waste not to spend it outside. He never liked being stuck in the stuffy old castle, and there were usually more interesting things outside. Like trees. And bugs. Those were always nice. They listened and never talked back. It was almost like having a friend. Smiling just like he always did, he raced out onto the grounds towards a little crop of trees, happily scrambling up the first one he saw. Finding a sturdy branch, he wrapped his arms and legs around it, inching forward so he could watch some ants crawl around. It wasn't thrillsville, but it was better than sitting inside.
Lost in his own world, he remained blissfully unaware of what was going on around him. Because of this, it took a while for him to notice when Divine showed up under his tree to read. And when he finally did, he leaned a bit on the branch so he was hanging a bit sideways, watching her interestedly. He half wondered if she would notice he was there, but she seemed content with her book. It was like that for a while when he heard something moving through the leaves and branches. Turning his attention away from the Slytherin, he looked towards the sound of the noise. Maybe it was a squirrel! Squirrels were nice. He'd feed them sometimes. They never thanked him, though.
What he saw, however, was not a squirrel, but a girl. Squirrely girly. And while his brain was processing the fact that there was a girl walking on the branches like it was second nature, he forgot to hold onto his branch. With no warning at all, he plummeted down the the ground next to Divine, taking part of the branch with him. He lay flat on his back, looking up at the branches and leaves with wide eyes. Finally he collected himself enough to speak. "You're not a squirrel! You're Morgan!" And didn't he look pleased with his discovery.

Personally, a change is bound to come… Maybe I’ll help it along… ▶ ▷「 The darkness grew thicker with ever step that the woman took, with a frightening scream she fell to the ground upon hearing rustling from the bushes. Only to find a shimmering black cat looking at her with glowing yellow eyes, before disappearing into further shadows. Hailey knew she was being paranoid, but what else could she do in a time of need? As she stood to her feet, the woman let out a shallow breath. Watching as the steam from her mouth rose; to disappear in the fog she was walking in. She was in the middle of nowhere, for the simple reason that someone had taken her; dropped her off and left her to defend for herself. As she walked the road, trying to find someone to seek comfort in, someone to drawn her sorrows in. The only thing that came to view through the foggy air was a tall gate. With spikes rising from the ground to reach for the sky, with the entry of a graveyard. Which was her hope that cutting through it might get her to the other side. Which may or may not lead her to a village-
Divine had been hearing the tree branches moving for a while, though she guessed nothing of it. That was until there was a snap and someone fell next to her. Her deadly gaze slide over to see Famine next to her, he was the one roaming around the tree like an idiot. She didn’t mind it until he decide to be annoying. Then he pointed out the fact that the small rain of twigs that went into her tight curls and left leaves against her dark skin; was because of Morgan. With a small growl, she blew the leaves away, ”If your trying to be quiet, you suck. If balance is what you want, you suck even more.” Now she was moving to get the twigs from her hair, while staring at the lake, ”Balance is all about being light on your feet, before you can get balance you need to be able to walk. If you can walk quiet, with balance then maybe you can jump on a tree without pissing off the person below it.” Her voice was dark, holding the natural seductive tone she had no matter what, along with her British accent slipping through her lips.
Holding up the book she had been reading, though it left her with a bored outlook shook the debris from its pages before closing it. Certain things bothered Divine, and one being the fact that now her towel, and blanket was slightly covered with the trees s**t. Standing up, the woman picked up her blanket and blew it out, then looked at Femine who was on her towel, ”Also concentration is important, don’t let it break, and don’t stumble on someone who is happy in silence.” She hissed the last part and sighed. Why the hell where they at this spot? Weren't there trees somewhere else? She raised an eyebrow and pulled the towel that was underneath Femine, as she blew it out she laid it back down. Sitting down, Divine waited for them to talk to her, it was pointless to leave now. If they talked a bit, maybe they would just leave. But she doubted that. 」◀ ◁

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Apparently, Divine wasn't the only fellow student that went unnoticed by Morgan. The redhead didn't notice Famine until he was sprawled on the ground and yelling up at her about... not being a squirrel? She couldn't help but laugh at the situation. Her hand flew to cover her mouth, though her eyes were still full of amusement. With a little cough to clear her throat, Morgan gave Famine what she hoped was an apologetic look. "I am sorry, Famine. I did not see you." It was then that Morgan did notice Divine; she had spoken, and rather icily. The redhead lost her smile immediately. "No one asked your opinion." She glared down at the other girl. "I did not know you were beneath the tree Divine, or I would have made a proper attempt at dropping a tree branch." Her reply was nonchalant, though a bit forced as she tried to rein her Romanian accent in.
Dropping gracefully from the tree, Morgan landed on her feet next to Famine. She extended a hand to him to help him up since it didn't seem Divine would. And that wasn't surprising. Divine was the sort of Slytherin who gave the others a bad name. She cocked an eyebrow at the girls next comment and noticed the book. "If one desires to read in silence, one might try the library." The grounds were almost never quiet. And the times that they were free of student noise, the natural sounds were enough to be mildly distracting at best.

Seamus turned the book over and over in his hands. He hadn't had five minutes to himself to be able to start it. Every time he managed to pull it out from under his mattress, someone would come into the dormitory. Frustrated, he finally headed outside to find solitude. Of course, he picked the wrong path. Morgan was in a tree, which Seamus did not find as alarming as the first time, but still seemed odd. She was speaking down to Divine, who was on the ground with a book. When Morgan mentioned the library, Seamus realized he was still holding his book. Momentarily flustered, he threw it into his robes. Ugh. He made his way over to Morgan's tree, hoping no one had noticed. Looking up at her he grinned. "Hullo. Tormenting the studious are we?"

Angelica had been in the middle of writing an essay in the common room when she saw Seamus slip out holding a book. She glanced down at her essay. She had written nearly seven inches, and the assignment was for twelve. She could surely finish this up before her next class period. Standing and gathering her belongings, she strode to her dormitory and left her things on her bed. She exited the common room and, before she made her way to the entrance hall, gave herself a once-over. Her shirt sleeves were rolled up, her tie loosened, and her skirt at least two inches above where it was supposed to lie. Perfect. She made her way out the front door of the castle and looked around for Seamus. She spotted him heading toward a tree, where she noticed Morgan and Divine, as well as another student she didn't know. She made her way over and after a minute or two, reached the group.
"Hello, Morgs, Seamus." She nodded to Divine and the other boy she didn't know. "Hello. I'm Angelica," she said to him. She didn't really care if he introduced himself, but she sustained eye contact with him for a moment after she spoke her name. "So, how is everyone today?" She took in Morgan's outfit and the leaves and twigs scattered on the ground. "Climbing trees?" she asked the redhead.

Divine May Venum Some may think I’m evil, but their wrong. I’m just not that nice if your pathetic, it’s your fault not mine. My views are different than others, I’m bored, could you blame me? Personally, a change is bound to come… Maybe I’ll help it along… ▶ ▷「 Divine looked at Morgan and shook her head, this guy was crazy. Why would a squirrel be so loud? Then again, she was talking about the man that was on the ground holding onto a branch. What weird people she was surrounded by, all the while Morgan looked at her and, all happiness left. ”I was giving friendly advice.” Divine stated plainly at the woman when she spoke, this caused her to smirk, ”Morgan! You did a wonderful job dropping a branch on me, missed barely, and to top it off a boy was with it.” Divine paused, already imagining the idiot falling on her lap and the branch hitting her. Too bad it wouldn’t have been funny until the man was off her lap. Followed by not having a headache, then again, the woman wouldn’t be happy. Not at all.
Her gaze watched as Morgan dropped to the ground with grace. So really it was only her ability to be in a tree, and stay quiet that was an issue. As Divine watched Morgan help the idiot up, Divine crossed her legs and waited for them to leave. But they didn’t, she only raised an eyebrow and said a comment. ”True, one would, if one didn’t mind being around people.” She glanced at Morgan and then to the red head, being as nice as she could be,”I wasn’t expecting anyone underneath a tree, but surprises happen every day. Though if I had to meet anyone under a tree, I’m glad it was you two.” That wasn’t a complete lie, though it was true she would much rather be by herself. It was easy to deal with someone who amused her as much as the idiot did. While Morgan gave her attitude that, more or less, kept Divine entertained as well.
Then more people showed up, this spot was like a magnet to people. One person was more than enough for her to encounter, two was pushing it. Looking at the other boy, she sighed answering smugly, ”No, she is not tormenting me, I love the company.” It was a lie, and if anyone paid attention they would tell from her tone, though she managed to keep it somewhat calm. There was no doubt that somewhere along those words held hostility. It was up to the people to realize her tone, and mood, maybe which would convince them to leave. Then another one! She was about ready to spell cast them all away, or just yell at them to leave. This girl she knew, Angelica that was her name, she gave Divine a nod. Which Divine passed off with a with another nod. Then opened her book and read. 」◀ ◁

The Gryffindor waved off Morgan's apology, his trademark grin on his face. "I've had worse falls!" he said cheerfully. He was telling the honest truth, and the impact on the soft ground was better than most of the other impacts he had had.
Famine was still flat on his back, looking up at the tree when Divine spoke, harassing him about his poor balance. The Gryffindor looked over at her, blinking rapidly. He hadn't said anything about trying to be quiet or trying to balance. In fact, he had just been minding his own business, watching the ants. Being quiet and balancing. Two things he had lived without most of his life, and didn't feel he'd be needing anytime soon. He opened his mouth to say something, only to notice that Divine was speaking again. His mouth snapped shut, and he puffed out his cheeks, looking about as angry as he could get. Famine waited for Divine to finish her little rant, not helping when she pulled the towel out from underneath him, instead attempting to be dead weight. It worked wonderfully.
Feeling like he had waited a long enough time to be able to speak without being interrupted, he started to point out that he had been at the tree first when Morgan spoke. He let out a grumpy sigh and crossed his arms over his chest, pouting. He hated not being able to talk a little less than he hated being ignored. The two Slytherin's exchange ended, and Morgan jumped down from the tree, landing next to him and holding out a hand to help him up. He chirped a thanks as she helped him up, and once standing, he brushed himself off.
He waited for a minute before he decided to mention that she at shown up at his tree when another Slytherin showed up. The smile completely died from his face and he pouted, recognizing the new comer as Seamus, another prefect. Usually he made a point of saying hi to the other prefects. As much, and as loudly, as possible. But currently he didn't feel like it, as yet another Slytherin showed up out of the bushes. He had always known that Slytherins were bush creepers. Or maybe they were rabbits, since they seemed to be reproducing as fast as them. The new girl introduced herself and he managed to give her a small smile. "Famine. Pleased to meetcha." His good mood had certainly died out fairly quickly. This time, he decided not to even try to get a word in, as Divine was ranting on about something or another. He noted that she sound much kinder this time around, but it didn't keep him from pouting.

____________ мσяgαи ∂αℓ¢α ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ Morgan smirked at Famine's comment. She didn't want to imagine the situations he got himself into if that fall was on the weak side. As the conversation progressed, Morgan chose to ignore Divine. She was very fake and it only became more apparent when Seamus arrived and she answered his question. If Divine was looking for solitude, she certainly wouldn't be loving the company, as she claimed. "Hello, Seamus. What brings you to the grounds?" Morgan said, with a half smile. That makes 3 prefects in the small group now. But before the boy had a chance to answer, Angelica showed up with her greeting.
"Hello, Angelica." Funny that she seemed to show up wherever Seamus did. Or perhaps it was the other way around. Morgan inwardly rolled her eyes. "Yes, climbing. I have not had time lately. Prefect duties have been increasing." The heads of house seemed to be on the prefects cases about their performance, or lack there of. As far as Morgan was concerned, if prefects were taking less house points, then it meant the other students were behaving better, or getting smarter at sneaking around.

Seamus smirked at Divine's answer. It certainly hadn't seemed to be love when she was insulting Morgan's abilities on his way towards the group. She went back to reading, so he directed his attention to Morgan's inquiry. "Just, you know. Walking. On the grounds. Trees are not really my thing." Seamus' hand went into his robe subconsciously, ensuring the book was hidden from view.
Angelica had now joined the group. He shot a glance at Divine to see if she'd noticed. She seemed to have believed the grounds to be as secluded as he had, both being mistaken. "It's true," Seamus began, turning from Divine back to the tree. "I haven't quite figured out why they're hounding us. It'll just make it a closer game for the House Cup. Less points I take, the better you ask me." They'd both had to see their head of the house, and it had been a tense meeting, to say the least.

Angelica didn't notice Divine's nod, as Famine had introduced himself, and Morgan was speaking to her. "I've noticed. You haven't been around as often." She glanced over at Seamus as he spoke about prefect duties as well. She agreed with him, and said, "Well that's unfortunate. Hopefully they'll lighten up."
She tucked her hair behind her ear and looked up at the tree's limbs. "I never understood how you could climb those things, Morgs," she said. Angelica practiced archery, but that was pretty much the extent of her athletic ability. "Were you climbing, too?" she said to Famine, who looked as though he had just fallen out of a tree--small bits of debris were in his hair and he looked a bit rattled--thought that might have been because of Divine, whom he had been listening to and pouting.
