...SELL IT!
This particular series of which I enjoyed for about five years, is what I am deciding to sell. The main character's personality over the years has just gone downhill. If not that, the author chooses to not so subtley(sp?) harshly degrade other religions that are not her own(the author has openly discussed her religion which I found fascinating at first untill she began doing what I said above).
I tolerated it for awhile(since it is fiction) and just concentrated on the story as well as the plot. But it was too difficult. Especially since I would have to keep skipping pages to avoid the main character's rather arrogant rants.
Thankfully most of the books I can post on paperbackswap where I recieved them. The others, I have no choice but to sell.
What about you guys? Have you began to hate a series or stand alone book so much, that you give it away as quickly as you got it? Or sell it?

Not... really... >.> I usually take about a year to actually read a book I bought cover to cover. xD

Sort of?
I borrowed this book, but I found out space opera, or specifically that written by Alastair Reynolds really wasn't my thing, and that got returned the next day.
I had a book given to me as a present: the prequel to Silence Of the Lambs. I read it in one night and was so disturbed by it's continued appearance on my (epic fantasy dominated) shelf that I eventually swapped it for other books at my local second hand store.
Of the books I have brought, the worst of those is only mildly irritating, and is still reread bi-annually.

I have a copy of a book I despise signed. I'm waiting for the proper opportunity to sell it for charity. At least then the book finds a home, and the proceeds go to something worthwhile.

I've gotten so sick of the Twilight series that I'm more than likely going to give it to my sister.
Other than that, the only books I've given away are romance novels to my local library. 3nodding
