What you'd name the Draggy: Varma Why: Varma is Finish for safe. The colors of the egg just make me think of a safe place. Like it'll be there to comfort and relax other's. Where you found the egg: We'd gone hiking that day. I didn't expect to save a dragon egg from a tragic end. It wasn't like there was real danger, just the danger of being flattened by my brother's butt. It was hidden in the grass and would have been invisible if it wasn't for it's odd colors. Quick on my toes I shoved him the other way, making him fall with a huff. But it was worth it, now it is safe and forever will be.
If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: To be a dragon for a day would be the greatest thing ever. I would totally fly. In need of food I would probably take advantage of my flight and take enough to feed a family. But, what do I know? I'm just a dragon for the day. By mid-lunch I would learn my wrongs and try to right them by saving the village from the erupting volcano. Then everybody would love me and I would return to the skies.

What you'd name the Draggy: Shea Why: It means 'Majestic' and, to me, dragons seem very majestic. Not to mention it's a really cute name. Where you found the egg: The sun was just now peeking above the horizon and I thought now was as good a time as any to pop into the forest and go treasure hunting. I had been in these parts of the woods before and I knew a good spot where I could find some precious gems; it seems that the woodland creatures found a spot I have not and have been using the gems in their nests. Carefully I made my way over tree roots and through the coarse underbrush and there, in my view, was the giant tree I was looking for. So I climbed up the tree a bit and peered inside a hole in the trunk---I almost fell off the branch as I saw an egg sitting amongst all the jewels! This must be my lucky day, I guess. Ah, but I ended up taking a few gems anyway. I'm sure the squirrels or whatever lives there wouldn't mind.
If I was a dragon for a day I would do everything in my power to scare the life out of frogs and other little creatures, my role model would have to be Godzilla or something. After I felt as though I've terrorized enough animals I would fly around and see if there's anyone else I can pick on...oh wait...isn't that terrorizing people? In short I would be a little pest that thinks he's better than everyone else because I could spit fire and fly around. Dragons are, after all, superior to others, so why not show it off?

What you'd name the Draggy: Névé Why: It's the name of a type of snow that can eventually mature into glacial ice. Somehow, combining the meanings of the parents names got me to 'ice phenomena' and my research found me this! Since the color of the tail reminds me of ice or shadowed snow, I thought it fit well ^^ Where you found the egg: Where'd I find it? A bunny gave it to me! No, seriously! A word to the wise~ never take baskets on the fly from dodgy-looking bunnies. No matter how magical they are supposed to be. I mean... Easter eggs aren't supposed to MOVE. -nervously eyes her basket of eggs- He kept looking over his shoulder like all hell was about to break loose, I should have known better. -sigh-

What you'd name the Draggy: Niflheim Why: Although the pink tribal on the shell is lovely and a little lighter, I chose the name Niflheim based on norse mythology, after searching for a while. Niflheim is the "mist-land", a land of cold and ice, one of the nine worlds. It was its ice mixing with the heat of Hel which began the creation of the world. I started my search for a name which was based around ice in mythology, because the tail looks a little, to me, like looking at the thick ice near where I live when it starts to melt and the water runs through it in little streams. Where you found the egg: There are only small sounds, like the dripping of melting ice. Below me, the floor is all grey tile, and rivulets of water run down it. The water is cold, I can feel it lap against my sandals. The egg has been placed in a nest on a pillar, snow surrounding its base. What creature would have brought the egg to such a cold place, or one with so many human constructions? The nest is threaded through with white scarves, as if padding the egg. The ceiling is falling apart in places, letting light shine down on the egg and in several spots on the tile. Despite the chill, the egg seems almost at home.
If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: If I was a dragon for a day, I would definitely take advantage of my wings. I think I would try to cover as much distance, to see as many sights... Either that, or I would use my fire to melt a bunch of icecream into a pool full of icecream and then go swimming. They both sound pretty appealing, to me >.>;

What you'd name the Draggy: Kismet Why: Because if I found it, it was destiny, I'm so oblivious if it isn't shiny. Where you found the egg: the field was quiet and calm, as one would expect for late evening. The animals that normally frolic for the day were all turning in for the night, safe and warm wherever they called home, while those who tend to frolic at night were just beginning to blink the sleep from their eyes. It's the best time to walk the world. Occasoinally, one can hear the hooting and chittering of the life all around, reminding one that they are not alone, even if it seems that way. It was an evening like no other....until something large, smooth and quite unexpected connects with the tip of my foot.
In a flash I find myself staring up at the darkening sky, confused for a moment just how I had managed to become so topsy-turvy. That is, until my foot starts to hurt. Swearing, I look around to see what it was I had tripped over. It's....an egg? A really big egg. A dragon egg?! What on earth was it doing all the way out here? And alone, to boot! With the sun setting it was sure to get much colder and though I'm no herpetologist it seemed to me that even reptile eggs needed to be kept warm. Wrestling with the egg, which is nearly as big as my chest, I carefully tuck the little thing under my shirt in hopes of keeping it warm. Looking either direction for a parent, or at least someone else and finding no one, I decide it would be better to take the young egg home for a while. A nice pillow near the fireplace should keep it warm enough to prevent any sort of...damage. Poor thing.

If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: (No more than 5 lines please) If I were a dragon, I'd like to think I'd go all Norwegian Ridgeback and get to participate in a Triwizard tournament. I mean, everyone was like, how cool it is to be in a Triwizard tournament for Harry Potter, but I think it's got to be pretty sweet for the dragon. I mean, seriously? Getting to flatten meddlesome wizards who are trying to steal your eggs? What could be better?

If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: (No more than 5 lines please) Minus the fact I'd be far too excited to comprehend that I'm that a living, breathing, walking terror of a dragon, I think I'd take advantage of all the things I could do. I'd terrorize the local butterflies, ladybugs, spiders, bees...okay maybe not the bees but i'd show those dragonflies the REAL DEAL. After which, I think i'd puff out my chest and show off my mighty dragoness to the first class dragons in town. They'd never see it coming and would be totally jealous of my majestic and proud stature. Afterwards, I'd think some R & R and then maybe some swimming would make a perfect day.~

If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: If I was a dragon I would be a river spirit as I love the water.I would help save people who got carried away by the rivers current and bring them back to shore. I would also try and discover new critters that may or may not be in the water.Eventually I will fly off to some distant land,but just for the day,as I could never leave my river for long.I may even try to make a few friends who would then have to keep me secret,but I dont mind as long as I can stay in my river.

If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: BURNINATE! As a dragon for a day, I'd want to have it all; the beauty and the terror. I'd start with flying, a crash course would included attempting to fall and miss the ground. Once majestically soaring I would light some fires along my route, feeling the rush of the wind and elation at the sight of the flames. After this I would start a shock and awe campaign, taking and hoarding away gold, basking on it while continuing to fly and spew flames. The experience would be amazing, not to mention have some shiny rewards to hoard.

What you'd name the Draggy: Jorani Why: Since her egg shell looks bright and jewellike it fits since It means radiant jewel Where you found the egg: It was in the dark of the night when the bright blue egg was stolen from the warm comfort of her siblings. There had been a brief flash of red and the next time the egg was seen it was being tossed from a hole in the ground with Something yelling at it for pretending to be rare jewel. The light blue egg rolled down the hill that the hole was burrowed into rolling across soft patches of grass and over rough patches of rock. As it came to rest at the bottom of the hill, startling a large black squirrel that had apparently been hiding under a patch of leaves. Now the chittering sound of the squirrel caught the attention of an evil wish that bore a striking resemblance to the squirrel. With a dark hissing sound that sounded like laughter the black wish picked up the egg and carried it a small clear patch of dirt that was edged in strange ruins. The big black wish had laid the egg in the center and looked like it was about to start some ritual when I arrived just in time alerted by the squirrel. Just in time I was able to safe the egg and put Ciera in a time out for trying to use another live sacrifice for trying to raise dead animals.

If you were a dragon for the day, what would you do: I WOULD HAVE FUN!!! I would get a bunch of marshmellows and bring all my friends over to have smores. Then purpously burn them slightly and giggle though I say its an accident twisted . Then I would show my awesome scales off, cause none of my friends are dragons and it pretty much makes me water proof! Hmmm, after that I'd probably climb all the trees I could find since these new nifty claws I have.... They have to be good for something! And thats what I would do in one day...
