"That's reassuring." Padma answered. She wasn't sure if that was entirely accurate, but on the other hand, if it was a problem, well, it wasn't like she wouldn't be able to deal with it."I was glad I could help. I hope it makes it in."
She glanced around. "I should be able to. I usually have a decent sense of direction." It wasn't really like the fields were too complicated, large yes, but not anything like darting through buildings. She gave the hedge a quizzical look, but didn't say anything. The older girl seemed like she knew what she was doing, maybe there was a super secret passage behind the hedge.
"I understand. It was very nice to meet you as well." She turned to walk away, and then paused, glancing back at the older girl. "May you have good fortune on this day." It was mostly habit now, a small reminder of home, but not a unhappy one, and so she skipped off, heading back towards where she had been before she had met Sally.

Grinning, Sally raised a hand to wave at the girl's retreating back. Well, that had been pleasant, and she had been charming! So the circus thing was really happening, then - she was excited for it.
She scribbled a few parting notes into her journal, then slipped it back into her bag and tucked the pen into her ponytail. When it was secure, she turned and strode towards the hole in the wall. She still had a whole afternoon of things to get done in Oldpeka!
