Okay, this gets complicated. So please just bare with me.
1. I am female
2. I have a boyfriend (cause I dont interly know where I stand... both with him and... yea)
3. I think I might be in love with my best friend.
Okay heres the story, my best friend, (yes she is female) well, we have bee really close. And I was questioning how close we have been for a little while. For a little while she was questioning if she was straight, but I'm not sure if she is still questioning it, because she is chasing after my 'older brother' (really just a close friend who treats me like he's my older brother). She claims he has stolen her heart.
I'm fine with that and all. But when I got a boyfriend, she walked out of the house (we were at a party) and found us kissing. She flipped and ran. Later she told me that she was jelous but she didnt know why.
Then recently she told me that she found someone for prom. And I got really jelous... and I dont know exactlly why. But I've been mentaly questioning how I view her... but I'm scared to tell her. I'm afraid that I would lose her. The question of our parents is nothing. Both wouldnt care.
Do you think you can help me?
Edit: oh! and as of right now... Everyone thinks I'm straight... and I thought I was... but now I'm not sure.

Edit: oh! and as of right now... Everyone thinks I'm straight... and I thought I was... but now I'm not sure. My advice is simple... Wait for a week or so... If she makes a move, go with it... If not, and if you're sure you like her... MAke a move.

Well it depends really, are you jealous because your friend has to split her time now, or are you jealous for other reasons? Do you feel attracted to her physically or mentaly? DO you see anything between the two of you? These are just of a few of the questions that need to be asked i think.

Hm. Well I do not know you personally but from what it sounds like in your post, you really do love her "that way". Of course, I found myself extremely jealous when one of my close male friends (with whom I have no sexual interest) had a girlfriend. It was wanting what I couldn't have. You love your friend (plutonically, let's say for hypothetical purposes) and you want to make sure whatever guy she dates is good enough. She will spend more time with him than you and that might make you jealous. There are two possibilities and I honestly cannot tell you flat-out where your sexuality stands but consider the options.

Makes me think of what I'm going though, though its much simpler.
I would really like to 'insert adivce here' but I'm more of a dreamer I guess.
1) You could always sit her down and say that you need to talk, or you want her oppion on something.
2) Perhpas some time (In the right conversation) mention that your curious about your sexuallity.
Other wise, when and if things were ment to happen, they'll fall into place.

Thank you everyone.
I have now broken up with my boyfriend, an dhe tells me to go after her.
And the person she wants, also knows and is telling me to go for it.
But I dont know how to tell her! And anytime that a subject is brought up it is around my mother or lots of other people.

Okay, for starts you might wanna make sure she's interested in other girls ninja . Cuz if you make a move n she isn't it might be embarrising xd .
Then, wait until you 2 are alone. Invite her over for a sleepover or something. If you look for the right time you WILL find it 3nodding ! Your parents can't be around ALL the time, n if it seems like they just keep popping up at the wrong places maybe pull mom aside n be like "can't you see i'm trying to ask out my friend stressed ?!" lol N then maybe your mom will be like "Oh, ok eek i'll give you 2 some alone time wink " or somethin xd
