With a bit of a smirk at Blade quitting before the job was done, she gently took one of his wrists with both hands and started lapping up whatever he had left over. It was sort of strange doing it to someone else for the first time, but it really didn't bother her. Food was food, after all. When she was finished with the first hand, she moved to the other, refusing to leave a drop behind.

Raising an eyebrow as Riyo took one of his hands, Blade found himself staring at her as she was licking up the remains of the blood. This was... odd. And kinda awkward too. He wasn't quite sure what to make of it. But he supposed at least his hands were getting cleaned up.
"Um.. thanks," he said while blinking before looking towards the skewers, "Ah! They're done."
Quickly shoving aside all other thoughts, he grabbed a stick for himself and for Riyo, handing her one. Not really waiting, he went ahead and started chowing down on his skewer. It was still very much hot, but he had a tendency to not burn himself while eating. Even though there were no seasonings or anything like that, the meat tasted absolutely wonderful thanks to his hunger.

Riyo didn't hesitate to grab the skewer and bite into it... Though she probably would've if she realized how hot it was. Swallowing the bite she had taken with watery eyes, she opened her mouth and fanned her tongue. "Owwwwww. I should've just eaten it raw." She whined, sounding sort of funny with her burnt tongue sticking out as she spoke. Though, she didn't stop eating for long. The cries of her stomach were much stronger than the burn from the meat. "It hurts soooo much, but it's sooooo gooood."

It seemed that Riyo had burnt her tongue on the meat. Blade wondered if he should have warned her on the temperature. It wasn't the first time he had forgotten that other people tend to burn more easily than he.
"Are you alright?" he said after swallowing a chunk of meat. The thief was making short work of his rabbit stick. Though, he soon paused as Riyo made another comment on the food. Well it wasn't so much of a pause as it was him choking on some rabbit as he recalled the previous night's events once again. Those memories weren't bad by any means but it was unexpected.
Coughing a lot, he managed to not completely choke, so it seemed there was no need for a heimlich this time around.

When Blade had started coughing, Riyo stopped eating and looked over at him with concern in her eyes. "Are you okay? What happened?" She questioned with a mouth full of food, ready to take another bite if he ends up being okay.

When the coughing subsided a little, Blade nodded weakly, rubbing his throat with his free hand. His red eyes had watered a little from this seemingly near death experience.
"Y-yeah..." he said with another cough, "I was eating too fast I think... choked on some meat."
With a weak smile, he soon let out a deep breath as the ordeal seemed to be over. His throat felt a little raw from that, but he was slowly recovering. Before too long, he was eating the rabbit again... though at a slower pace than earlier.
Once he was done, he tossed his skewer to the flames and sat back. The rabbit was oddly rather satisfying, though he wasn't quite full. It at least was enough to keep him going a little longer though.
