I'm planning on doing a study Skype chat. I love teaching, and the last one I was in didn't work out because the person who taught the class was very novice
I also will need other people who would like to teach other levels depending on the people I get for it. I will also message you or add you to skype as more people sign up for this.
So:
Username: Skype Username: Level and what you know(ex: Beginner. Kana, some kanji, basic words.) (Newbie, beginner, lower intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate): Have you ever taken formal classes and where: List your study habits: Do you plan on taking the JLPT (Japanese language proficiency test) or have you:

Level and what you know(ex: Beginner. Kana, some kanji, basic words.) (Newbie, beginner, lower intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate): kana, some kanji... lower intermediate
Have you ever taken formal classes and where: University of Washington. JPN 134 and 211 completed. Taking final for 212 tomorrow morning and taking 213 next quarter. Considering 3rd year intensive (334) for summer '11.
List your study habits: Before taking Japanese at UW, I studied like crazy on my own. Now, I attend class every day and do every assignment, but I don't spend so much time drilling as I used to.
Do you plan on taking the JLPT (Japanese language proficiency test) or have you: I would love to eventually, but I'm learning more every day, and I'd rather use the money for textbooks for now.
To be perfectly honest, I'm more interested in having a conversation partner who is fluent in English and solid in Japanese, but I have lots of experience tutoring and teaching. I've been teaching music professionally since '06, and before that I spent 2 years tutoring part-time (mostly English) at a community college.

Username: The Princess Agitha Skype Username: debripsyche Level and what you know(ex: Beginner. Kana, some kanji, basic words.) (Newbie, beginner, lower intermediate, intermediate, upper intermediate): Extremely beginner an almost all, some basic questions. Have you ever taken formal classes and where: I don't think anime club counts so much. We've tried at our high school, but all the others sort of pushed the learning part out of the way to watch Naruto. Egh. :< List your study habits: Audio learner for sure, and with my ADD, I tend to stray often. As long as it can keep my attention fairly well, it can be learned. Do you plan on taking the JLPT (Japanese language proficiency test) or have you: . _____. I don't believe so.
