I am just a tomboy who happens to clean up pretty good on the occaision....

I would rather be outside with my hands in the dirt, than stuck inside talking about what shade of pink suites what type of skin the best. I hate it when my hairdresser complains about my long hair, and the time she has to take to highlight certain sections. I pay her good money to dye my hair and trim the ends, the least she can do is not complain about it where I can hear her.

I hardly ever wear makeup. It bothers me at work, and even though there are hypoallergenic brands everywhere, they are not all hypoallergenic to me. There is almost nothing I hate worse than finally getting a shade of lipstic or eye liner that I need to match a certain outfit, only to find out that I am allergic to it.

When the girls at work try to gossip about celebs, they get irritated at me because I usually have no clue who they are talking about. I didn't get access to a TV until I graduated college and bought one with my first paycheck. Then I couldn't get a signal because I lived out in the boonies, and had to buy cable three months later...

If I am going to watch a movie, it has to be something I like. I am more apt to watch the horror scifi flick than the romantic comedy... My husband approves... xd

I know how to load and shoot my own guns. I hunt regularly. I dress my own game, and back at home helped my Da and brothers butcher the hogs and cattle for the family's consumption. Don't get me wrong... I can thread a needle and sew just as good as the rest of my sisters and my grandmothers, I just usually choose not to.

I like to paint and compose poetry, though I don't let other people look at them all that often.

I can hold a grudge, but it usually takes more energy out of me to hold that grudge than it does to forgive, forget, and live my life without holding on to something like that.

There are things that happen to me and my family on a daily basis that would make most people pull their hair out in frustration due to other people's ignorance and persistance in living in ignorance. You cannot continue to hold a grudge against such people, it drains the life out of you.
