So today I was on a roll in the Battle Hall with my Azelf. Upon winning my 49th battle in a row, I was quite happy especially since I won some close encounters. Shortly after I was challenged by the Hall Matron Argenta. I was using my Azelf, as she sent out a Honchkrow (an almost perfect counter to the Azelf I was using). So I wasn't expecting to win, knowing that Honchkrow's get Sucker Punch, but the warstory made it even more laughable.
Jordan sent out Azelf! Hall Matron Argenta sent out Honchkrow! (Honchkrow's Quick Claw activates) Honchkrow used Night Slash! A critical hit! Jordan's Azelf fainted!
Now I am aware that Honchkrow has the ability Super Luck, but still, the fact that it got the Quick Claw to activate AND a crit was pretty funny, espcially since I could've won.
So, as the title states, what are some epic fails you guys have had with your adventures in Pokemon. It doesn't have to be HG/SS, it can be Emerald, D/P/Pt etc. It's happened to all of us, so everyone please share!

I believe I got swept by a Vileplume once, which was all sorts of amazing to say the least. I can't remember all of the details of the battle, but let's just say there was tons of dual spore (Sleep Powder and Stun Spore) + quick claw hax involved.

Battle Factory.
Facing a Flygon with Fissure that promptly swept my three Pokémon was quite possibly the most humiliating defeat I've ever suffered. XD
Especially since the three I had were physical tanks, and wouldn't have been defeated by the Tri-punching Flygon without Fissure. ._.

Just another example of Battle Tower Hax. My opponent uses a Porygon2 and Download raises its Attack. I decide that it shouldn't be much of a threat because of that and have my Starmie use Psychic. It survives with over half its HP and T-Bolts me. I survive with 4 HP thanks to it being a crit. I switch to Garchomp expecting another T-Bolt but it uses Tri Attack. I survive with a little of my health due to another Crit. Desperate to kill it, I use Outrage. It dies. They send in Abomasnow. It loses a little over half its health to Outrage. Then it KOs Chomp with Giga Drain. Critical hit. Again.I switch to Tyranitar and use Dragon Dance. It uses Giga Drain and takes away a large bit of health due to a critical hit. I use Stone Edge and end Abomasnow. Aerodactyl is sent out. I'm thinking: Psh, one Stone Edge and I win. I select Stone Edge. It uses Ice Fang. Woot! Not a critical hit! It freezes me. Lum Berry thaws me out. I flinch. It didn't take out enough health that it could KO me in another hit, so I'm still unfazed. Ice Fang. Critical Hit. My beloved Harbinger is eliminated. I send out Stamie. Thunder Fang. Completely unecessary Critical hit (Four HP, remember?). Dead. My streak is ended.
In short: Every move against me was made of Hax.

First out was Glaceon. I readied an Ice Beam and...
"Flygon used Fissure! It's a OHKO!"
I gawked at the screen, but thought, "Well, damn it. Let's keep going."
Next out: Swampert. I knew the Flygon's set, and knew it had Fire Punch, Ice Punch, Thunderpunch, and Fissure. With an Ice Punch ready...
"Flygon used Fissure!"
Thunk. Swampert goes down.
I take a breath, send out Drapion.
Thunk.
Three out, one after the other. XD

I havent had problems with the battle hall leader, I beat her for the Silver with my Togekiss
I have had a fail to the Battle Arcade leader! I cant remember the whole match as to what were all of the moves, but as I recall I we each had one pokemon left she had her Medicham and I was left with my Tyranitar. well Medicam used Endure to survive my Stone Edge, then Medicam unleashed a reversal for the kill cause im x4 week to fighting and it should do alot of damage being at 1HP! I really hate that combo too! so I wasted all that time to loose by 1 measly HP

I was versing a kingler that was still alive thanks to its focus band. Kingler uses gillotine It's a OHKO Okay, I'll just kill it with the next pokemon and use quick attack Kingler hangs on with focus band Kingler uses Gilotine It's a OHKO Umm... Okay, I'll try again Kingler hangs on with focus band Kingler uses Gilotine It's a OHKO Me: ...

Though when you run the numbers, my luck is probably still worse.
