Taylor breathed heavily. It eventually lightened up and she got her breath back and didn't feel as worn out. She ran a hand through her hair and leaned her head against the wall. "They're gone. It's OK. They're all gone," she said, more to herself than Scipio.

Scipio smiled at her and said "Calm down. They're gone and I can promise you that."

Taylor smiled at him. "OK, I'm calm now," she said and paused. "At least, I'm pretty sure I am."

Taylor smiled and looked the wall. "I think it's safe to go now," she said. Not a harpy in sight. Good. She turned to him. "I'll see you tomorrow," she promised him and kissed him once last time. She pulled away after a few moments and smiled at him. She stood up and silently walked to the back of the building where it was darkest. Now if I can just muster up enough strength ... she thought and focused all of her strength on the shadow. She stepped into it and shadow-traveled backt to her cabin.
