Ok....so..... I live in a Christian "household"....but only one of my parents believes in Christ (my mother). My father does not. The strange thing is is that my father acts more like a Christian than my mother does. My father is calm and kind. Given the chance he always takes an opportunity to help people. He's very willing and uplifting.
My mother on the other hand is very...harsh....and stubborn. She think that the world and everything else revolves around her and what she believes. Her veiws on Christ are a bit...off...and whenever I try to tell her something about Christ that she doesn't believe is right...she starts yelling and telling me I'm wrong and that what I say is stupid or doesn't make sense.
(I don't mean to make my mother sound evil....)

I can understand it.
My own parents don't know Christ and my younger sister has shown interest in Jesus recently.
While both of my parents are stubborn to keep their own ways and views (they are so unwilling to change or come out of their box), I have seen people who are Christians be really stubborn and harsh too.
The only thing I've found that I'm able to do is to just pray.

You don't seem to be making your mother sound evil to me. But I know how you feel. My mother, a Christian, is often the same way.
It actually makes a lot of sense when you put it in perspective. Your father may not be a proclaimed Christian, but that doesn't mean that he can't see the reason behind living for the most part like a Christian. God's laws are right, they are natural. I pray that your father will come to Jesus, but even without a personal relationship with God, he can see right from wrong.
Your mother, on the other hand, is acting selfish. I don't want to offend you. I am sure that she is very loving and does everything she can for you and for others that she loves, but she is focusing more on herself than on the will of God. Selfishness is a very easy trap, and the most well-intentioned person can fall into it every once in a while. When you focus everything you have on God, you find peace, and you learn discipline, discernment, and love. However, if you are telling God how to live your life rather than letting Him lead you, or if you keep part of yourself or your life away from God, such as working to make money on your own without praying to God or trusting Him to guide you, you can find yourself drifting. Life becomes about you rather than God, no matter how self-sacrificing you may seem, to yourself and others. It's a trap, easy to fall into, but hard to climb out of. All that your mother needs to do is let go and trust God, but that is easier said than done.

Dawn Landers I would hate to sound rude but here. Your mother needs her pride torn badly from under her because that pride will destroy her in the end meaning she will descend into that horrible place Christ warned about should she die in her sins. Your father will descend into that horrible place Christ warned about should he not accept Christ as lord of his life and continue a humble life style before he die one day.
My grandmother will not forgive granddaddy all the way completely and I warned her of descending into Hell if she die in her sins. "I forgive him some what but this hate is so ancient deep roots in me." Grandmother said. I don't care what excuse she have, God will not settle for 50% he will only accept 100% of repenting. "If you gain the whole world in your life but lose your soul in the end what good are you?" I asked grandma. The spirit of UN-forgiveness be trying to get me into Hell to, I need to find my old teacher Ms. Flavia so this spirit of UN-forgiveness will stop tempting me its really worrisome even after I repented to God.

One time I felt so beloved by God in my sleep its beyond belief, love so great it be screaming out your body and it consumes your every thought and being. You could spend eternity only focusing on that love and wouldn't care about nothing else not even your babies waiting on you could disrupt you from focusing only on that love God has for you. God's love is so great it can throw you into a divine evolution of holiness, the cosmos is made out of pure love and I even felt the worlds pain of wanting God's love in my sleep.
Many people cannot understand the power of love even though its everything, these next words will strike your every being for you were designed for it.
