I can say that the ova doesn't count since he is wearing that cloth and Sasuke is still here. I'm guessing that Gaara came earlier to konoha with 'calm'.

i can't say much but looking at his close and his poses i'd say that the ova is set a time line between two events. gaara becoming kazekage and gaara lossing his sand beast.

That's what I thought too. He's got the kazekage outfit on.

Yeah that totaly sucked. I thought it was going to be a a full OVA with lots of badass fights and then he say meet me in the game.
