Appearance: Shusou has short blond curly hair and bright blue eyes. His face still holds a rather childish appearance to it. He has a slightly toned, supple body, and long, slender legs. Shusou's outfit is composed of a simple long-sleeved black shirt, leather shorts, red toeless stockings, and black knee-high sandals. He wears a long haori over his shirt, tied together with a black ribbon attached to the top. Shusou uses a holster with several pockets attached to each of his pockets to house his weapons. He also keeps a thin sealing scroll on his back, attached by two rings on the top and bottom of his haori, where he keeps Ne (see bottom for info).

Biography: Shusou was born on 30 April as the youngest son of Seikon Onsou, daughter of the Seikon Company Head, and her husband Takane. The Seikon Company was a group of medical ninja, created by the Seikon Clan, who were often sent out to heal ninja in times of war (a sort of Red Cross). As such, Shusou was trained from the age of four in medical ninjutsu, advanced biology, herbology, toxicology and surgical implementation. Due to his parents often being away on mission, Shusou was often cared for by his older brother Kane. He grew greatly attached to Kane who would often protect and console him.

In mid-November, when Shusou was eleven, an epidemic struck the Seikon Company Stronghold. An unknown virus swept through the unprotected village, killing a dozen members before it was isolated and subdued. With the advanced techniques of their clan the Seikon were able to contain the virus, however, an unlucky few were unable to be fully healed. Rather, any attempt at healing only prolonged the suffering of those inflicted. Of those still virus-bound was Shusou's brother Kane. Shusou tended to his brother's every need, knowing full well that he would not survive long. One day, Kane expressed to Shusou that he did not wish to die. Shusou was then determined to find a cure for his beloved brother's malady.

For two months, Shusou studied every medical text he could find that would yield some answers. At every new discovery, he created jutsu, potions, and salves. Each only managed a temporary relief from the symptoms. Eventually, his parents, who had been helping him as much as possible, began to lose hope, and merely focused on ensuring a comfortable death for the eldest son. But Shusou was not deterred. As he continued to research, an idea popped into his head. The viruses ability to evade destruction had little to do with the individual virions, but rather their large number and quick reproduction rates. If only a small portion of the body was targeted, it would be possible to eradicate all the viruses their in one go. In other words if he were to heal his brother's brain and heart and place it within a healthy vessel, he could cure his brother of his illness, at the cost of someone else's life. Rather than think over the risks and consequences of his action, Shusou resolved to do just that.

On the fourth month of Kane's illness, Shusou brought in his cousin Shubi. He was a near perfect match for the transfer, matching Kane in age, height, build, and blood type. Shubi, unaware of what was happening, was quickly put into a powerful genjutsu, and subsequently anesthetized. Shusou sealed off the room, and began the surgery. He cut away his cousin's heart, making sure that the body was well preserved. But before he could transfer his brother's heart, Shusou's seal was broken, and the Police Core of the Seikon Company restrained him. They managed to save Shubi's life due to Shusou's precautions, but despite that Shusou's grandfather and the Seikon Company elders ordered his execution. But, because he realized Shusou's motivation, the Seikon Head allowed him to continue alleviating his brother's pain until the day his sentence was carried out.

Both Shusou and Kane were locked up in a room, but because Shusou's prowess seemed to lean only on medical ninjutsu, he wasn't well monitored. Using this to his advantage, Shusou employed the arts he had learned in order to get many of the ingredients his cures required. Using the Hidden Mole Technique, Shusou burrowed his way out of his cell. Making sure to use utmost secrecy he gathered several materials. Among them, animals that he tranced into compliance. Knowing that his cousin was the closest match to his brother in his village and that any moves made would lead to his discovery, Shusou sought to create a temporary substitute vessel by creating a chimera bound with Kane's cells. Using his skills, Shusou created two chimera, a black one (created from a dog, a bat, a crocodile, and a monitor lizard) to contain Kane's heart, and a white one (made from a cat, a young ram, a snake, a bird, and an octopus) to contain his brain. However, following the surgery, a guard opened the door to Shusou's cell to escort him to the executioner's block. Before she could open her mouth, Shusou lunged at her, covering her mouth and stabbing her through the heart several times with a scalpel. Then he used her vocal chords to grant Ka, the black chimera, a voice (Ne, the white chimera, had Kane's original vocal chords).

Several minutes later a new guard appeared, to make sure everything was alright. When he entered the room, he saw Shusou sitting by raised pile of dirt. Shusou explained that his brother had died and that that was where he buried him. The guard escorted Shusou to the Seikon compound where the execution was to take place. Before he was placed on the block, Shusou asked his grandfather if the Kousaijin (Eternal Cutting Blade), a powerful weapon of the Seikon Head was still in the warehouse. His grandfather, surprised at such a question, asked why he wished to know. Shusou merely smiled as his body turned brown and collapsed into a pile of dirt. He had already made his escape with his chimeras, placing an Earth clone in his stead, and he had taken the Kousaijin with him. As the Seikon Police Core chased after him, Shusou ran through the western forest, the most dangerous way out of the village. He knew that he would easily lose them or that he would be left for dead. After many weeks of running and surviving the forest, he made his way to the outskirts of a town. Their he promised Ne, who had the mentality of a very small child due to the many seals placed on Kane's brain, and Ka that he would reunite them in a perfect body. Ka, wished to help Shusou and, despite Shusou's desire to keep him with Ne within a summoning scroll, he stood by Shusou's side.

Personality: Despite having gone through many tough ordeals, Shusou has a very jubilant and bright personality. The reason for this is because Ka had expressed that due to his heart's memories, it sank when he saw Shusou's sad expression. Wishing to return Kane's heart in a happy state, Shusou often acts like a happy child. Regardless, he is a seasoned killer, and is quite capable of exploiting a person's weaknesses to deliver a fatal blow. He does, on the other hand, have a natural compulsion to help the injured, as per his training within the Seikon Company. Above all else, Shusou idolizes his brother, and puts him in higher regards than any other person. This leads to often dangerous encounters when he feels that his brother's important parts (his heart (Ka) and brain (Ne)) are being targeted.

Anyone who crosses this area will immediately sink and suffocate. The change to the landscape is subtle (it won't sink anything too light), but a sufficiently advanced ninja would be able to perceive it.

Shusou uses a string of chakra crystals to pull his blood from his body in sharp spikes. This technique is only used as a last resort, due to the intense pain and danger it creates. If too many crystals are strung out, imperfections can occur. If the crystals at the base disintegrate, the blood will merely drop to the ground.

Ka

Appearance: Ka is quadrupedal, bearing a resemblance to a large dog. His forepaws have three lizard-like toes, and he has the tail of a crocodile. His dog-shaped head has a membranous appearance, with large bat-like ears. Ka's tongue can extend up to one meter and is covered with many tiny seals, which expand to release a variety weapons and medical tools.

Personality: Ka is very loyal to Shusou, wishing to help him in anyway possible. He has a deep but smooth feminine voice which sometimes bears a bit of sarcasm. While intelligent, he often let's compulsion get the better of him.

Appearance: Ne is bipedal, standing on two cat paws. He has short stout body and a large head. He has wings on his sides, under which are two tentacles. He has two small horns on his head. His eyes are pitch black. Ne's mouth is wide and, while usually closed, is lined with sharp poisonous teeth.

Personality: Due to the seals used in protecting Kane's brain, Ne has the IQ of a three year old. His sentences are rudimentary and always end in “~napin.” While childish, he does have a great love for both Shusou and Ka and always tries his best to make everyone cheerful. Because he lacks fighting ability he's usually placed under seal, but is released (in secluded areas) as often as possible.
