Admitting that he was rather worried that the prisoner would escape Clarisse's arms, he left her with the dog-tags to use in emergencies, just in case, since they were supposed to be enough to prevent Direct Offensive Magic Powers from hitting Clarisse, in general, as well as to prevent mind-control, Cross goes to head to the stables, sensing its best to await that Rachel Elizabeth Dare is supposed to send a letter to the camp, as he then thinks to himself,'Is there anything else i don't know about, these days?' as the Commander was worried about all his friends who are deployed all over the place.

He then noticed that Joey was here, and suspecting that this may be part of some sort of new, convulted plot he wasn't sure if Mina talked her into doing, to drive guys like Nico nuts or not, the Commander then goes to shake Joey's hand, firmly, asking carefully,"So shall i take it as your times with outside the camp is still acceptable, except for the regards that Percy's now missing?" the Consented Visitor of a Jarhead had to ask the Hekatean creation about such matters, as its been a while since Cross recalled the last time he was permitted to visit the camp, these days.

"Regardless of whether or not Mina meant it when she said Percy's not her type, and i do believe she means it, i find that i have to agree with her on regards like these, plus i suspect that sooner or later, more of my mother's side of the family will wind up responding to Jason and want to check for any hidden Genetic Memories they could find of him," Cross had to admit, not only not bothering to care too much that he could carry both a one-handed sword and a usually two-handed axe with just two hands, each, but also on the regards he was basically also assigned to fight for the forces of Olympus along with his officers from the U.S Military and anyone else also sent to fight elsewhere in the U.S and beyond.

"I miss Miranda Creusa, and it wasn't until when i found one of Mina's...male lovers again that i even realized we were cousins, admittedly i might not have even known her name when i saw her in a blur after the siege for the camp, here," as Cross wasn't much to recall onwards, but he planned to race Joey back to the Fireworks beach, her call if she was going to use her horse or not.

"You can do that, i'll be fine on foot, trust me," as Cross saluted to Joey as he awaits when she gets on her steed, preparing to make a run to the Fireworks beach, once the racing begins.

'Well you heard the Hekatean, what are you waiting for?' Cross thought to himself as he practically orders himself to get running, and run, he did, as he moved with such surprising speed, its a wonder he's not tiring, yet.
'This isn't really the limits of my movement speed, is it?' as Cross suspects he wasn't really going all out even if he wanted to, at that moment, either, as he still felt slower than he used to be, due to the medication excesses Cross was known for doing, as Mina suspected.
'I guess i should be glad i am not tiring outright, yet, otherwise i'd be done for, in the long run,' Cross thought to himself, as he was already gaining on Joey and Oreo with his current running speeds.

Despite the insane levels of weight his weapons would bring when Cross still has them open, he was able to keep up with the already-high movement speeds of Oreo, even at his worst conditionings, which the current conditions happen to be one of them, for Cross, lately.
'C'mon, you can't be so slow as for it to be a breeze for your opponent to win, can you?' Cross thought to himself as it seems that Joey and Oreo were still faster than even he, which barring officer Siegfried or even Chiron if needs demanded it, should not have been possible at all unless the gods were racing, in which case, the best Cross could do is just survive, right there.
Yet the internal glitches from the medication were still making Cross' movement speeds go haywire in terms of movement rates, for reasons Cross cannot fully fathom, as he was still feeling slower than Oreo, but thankfully to him, not by all that much.

Cross was already feeling that Oreo was moving faster than Cross currently was, as Cross then goes to stomp the ground and make moderately sized leaps in an effort to keep up with Oreo, despite the medical weaknesses that were artificial on him, as Cross was already feeling that his sight was getting hazy on him even though he isn't physically tiring, as of yet.

Commander Cross thought to himself on the following regards,'I can tear off a limb of a Vampire violating the Pax Arturius with little to no problem at all, barring their overlords in general and even then not many would live, but these days you have my movement speed attempt to go beyond the max of 820 miles every 5 seconds or actually tracking speedsters who move 8,000 miles per nanosecond, and it usually doesn't go well if i attempt anything more than that, really,' as Cross felt it was already his fault more of his comrades were slain, as its still on his mind to continuously pervade it, regardless of Nico's best efforts and that of everyone else Cross regards as family and comrades.

Regardless, the Commander could take the idea he was beaten fairly(albeit the squarely part may be debatable since those glitches are still active!) but he cannot take the idea of how in the long run of things, the Commander might be reduced to nothing more than cannon-fodder on the field.

He goes to try to hide it with his eyes, as he then said,"Congratulations, i guess, Joey, so shall we head to Cousin Mina to see what else she has planned out, lately?" as Cross suspects that his cousin is planning for something particularly off-key, aside from helping Miranda Creusa getting two females who weren't straight to confess their love for each other and all that jazz, that is.
