My Yanmega which I got on Wi-Fi was caught in the Pokemon league (obviously the catch anything cheat) at lvl 80. I trained it all the way up to lvl 100 with no rare candies and no exp. cheats. Should I abandon a Pokemon that I obviously worked hard to train myself or leave it to prosper on my team?

This pokemon is definately hacked. You could keep it for ingame purposes, but it would not be allowed in wi-fi matches because it is indeed, hacked.

Regardless of stats/movesets, the above statement (mainly the bold) pretty much explains it all. Besides, Double Team isn't allowed on the Wi-Fi either anyways.

Double Team is there to keep it from being destroyed in a single hit, as Bug/Flying types have a ton of exploitable weaknesses.

Your talking to someone who has had plenty of experience with Yanmega. Tinted Lens make Bug Buzz extremely versatile or Speed Boost works great with Protect for allowing Yanmega to beef up it's speed to sweep. Regardless of all of that, my statement still stands: "Double Team isn't allowed on the Wi-Fi either anyways".

Kyrenx has a point. I don't work much with Bug types, but it is part Flying type. And no one here knows Flying types better than Kyrenx. Also, Double Team is banned because just two uses can prevent any but Always-Hit moves from hitting the Double Team user for over 3 turns (Unless you're really lucky). And constant misses frustrate many people. So, the Evasion Clause was born.
If this post didn't come out right, or offended someone, please let me know.

Geez, you guys see the word cheat and you avoid answering the question fully. Look, I get what you are saying. The Pokemon was ingame, stats untampered, and you leveled it up yourself. The point is that you caught a Yanmega at level 80. This is impossible and is therefore considered wrong. Also, the moveset was made for you. Plus, though I am unsure about this, the Yanmega could have been EV/IVed up due to it being an E4 member. So the reason why you cannot use it is because you did not train it. Yes, you got it to lv 100, but you did not initially and totally train it. Good question, and I'm glad you asked.
