Description: Moranis a a youth who has yet to grow into himself. At age fifteen and towering over many of the other apprentices, he realizes that he will take after his father in height. Underneath his light maohogany brown mop of hair is a inquistive pair of blue-green eyes surrounded by thin eyebrows and lashes. His smile is quick even if he says nothing afterwards. Though tall, he is not as lacky as some others his age and height are and he can eat almost twice as much as most. Moranis stays fairly fit due to his constant running around the hall. His facial features are almost delicate and his fingers nimble which allows him to use a needle and thread with the best of them. Moranis stays mainly inside the hold but does take his runner out every once in a while to stay fit and tanned.
Personality: Though quick to smile, Moranis often holds his tongue around his peers and elders. His judement for color and texture, along with his uncanny skill to mix color better than most in the hall has set him apart just a little bit, especially since his father is the MasterWeaver. This is something he does not try to flaunt and in fact tries not to mention it at all, refering to his father as Master when around others. He is very shy around those he does not know or is not comfortable around. Moranis does his best to follow rules and manners, especially when it comes to ladies having been drilled by his mother before she passed away. Once away from the hall, he is a little more open around others, yet still not very talkitive.
History: Moranis was born and is being raised at the Rias WeaverHall. He is the son of the MasterWeaver, Emoraan and his late wife, Yllaria. When Moranis was just a child, his mother passed away from one of the many complications of the plague. She simply went to sleep one day after complaining about being tired and never woke up. Shortly afterwards, his father quarreled with his elder brother, Choparl, and caused him to leave the hall. Choparl went north and was never heard from again. His sister, Keedra, met a holder who was down in the South on business and espoused to him. They went back up to the north, in Tillek somewhere, to live.
Having grown up around weavers all his life, Moranis picked up the needle and thread when he was very young. He started sewing little things but was drawn to color and dyeing. Made fun of somewhat for hanging around the women and girls as they mixed the colors, Moranis became withdrawn and shy. His father became Master of the Hall when he was five and other kids called him a suck-up and other bad names. So he withdrew even more into colors and restoring old tapestries, though he is nimble with patterns of all sorts. Lately, he has been trying to make himself more assertive and even has some good friends amoungst the journeymen.
Special: Moranis is very talented when it comes to creating colors and matching them to people. He knows how to blend so that there is no seam from one color to the next.
