Song Tzue nodded. “I am lucky then; to have found others I was meant to be with.” She thought of Bai Mei and Yoru, a fond smile blossoming on her face and softening her features.
As more men began to arrive, Meilin grew increasingly uncomfortable. They were certainly giving her interesting looks, many perhaps assuming that she was one of the girls that could entertain them for the night. “Yes, I believe you are right... it’s time for us to leave now.” Meilin looked to Song Tzue, her fingers wrapped around the girls, hoping that this time the Pine would not fight her.
The Pine finally relented with a nod. “Alright. Let’s go home.” Before leaving, Song Tzue gave the boy a brooding stare. “Don’t wait for anyone; get yourself out.” And with that she tugged Meilin away; the older woman dipping her head to the boy before they began their way down the street.

"Yes.. Lucky.. Though I can't help but think I know who I am meant to be with.. Even though we haven't met in a past life..." His words were whispered, and a fond, yet sad look settled onto his own sweet features.
The men came more and more, handing out tantalizing looks at the three. Yes, it was for the best that they leave.
"Farewell on your journey, maybe we'll meet again in a different setting." His ears did catch the girls words, his eyes narrowing just a bit as he gripped his tray of sweets.
"I will wait. Because I promised, and I dare not betray him... I guess you just do not understand.." He whispered once more, letting his words be carried away on the night breeze..
It was going to be another long night...
