Starting out. My mind is always blank, and I can't think about what to write. AT ALL. Does anyone know how to get through? All help and comments are appreciated. mrgreen

You could try researching beginnings. Or go for a walk.

ever red any Tom Clancy books? his main characters often inter twin with each other I normally take a imposable situation and tell it from everyone's point of view when siting down to wright a story I often have a world in my head for example theirs some story's in my jernle feel free to read them if you want but the world is a post WW3 no electric and small groups of humans are fighting over what few madern world recourse there are like penicillin fresh water clean food, ammo ect and tell the same insadint from every one involved no bad guys no good guys just every one trying to survive in a desperate world so often when I start a story like that Im thinking on stuff to keep the reader comeing back for more questions that will burn in there heads to be answerd witch the next story will likely answer but also start more questions to be answerd in the next story and when I close a story I answer all the questions

I don't know if this helps with the question, but just start writing down your plot. You could write down what happens in each chapter like, in chapter 1.... chapter 2.... and so on (Thats is if you are doing chapters if not just write down things that needs to be in your writing) and if you don't like your first plot, edit it or start a new one.
Sorry if it doesn't help, but for me it helps if I have an outline to follow when I can't think of any thing.
