Background History:
Born to two ninja of the village, Yuj diligently followed in their footsteps, learning eagerly and constantly pressing on with his studies in an effort to receive the approval from his father who was always away on missions. Yuj found he was by himself most of the time. Even when his father was away for extended missions, his mother was also busy patrolling the village, so he had to take care of himself from a young age. His father never seemed to be too outwardly impressed by his only son's progress, but Yuj did know that both parents love him dearly. He also acknowledges that they have lived a rather sorrowful life; his mother losing both parents at a young age, and his dad having seen most of his friends killed in battle before his eyes.
Despite the pain, they both show attention and care to Yuj, asking him if he truly did want to follow their lifestyle when he announced that he wanted to attend the ninja academy. Once enrolled, his mother would often help Yuj on any concept he didn't understand or supervise his training. When his mother wasn't around, he would still dedicate his time to study when he wasn't playing with the close friends he made. Despite his educative obsession, Yuj was still a very carefree and friendly individual, making friends by way of his charming smile and calm outlook on things. Under his mother's care and desire to make his father proud Yuj passed the academy and graduated to be a genin.
Not long after his graduation, however, Yuj's mother gave birth to a baby girl. Yuj found himself spending what little free time he had, between hanging out with friends and training with his team, attending to his baby sister. Eventually, when his mother left maternity leave, Yuj suddenly found himself spending less time with his teammates and more time taking care of the newest addition to the family. As a result, Yuj fell dramatically behind his teammates and was not allowed to partake in Chuunin exams.
