Is dark soul like sangan or can I foolish burial it as well?

It says when you control it and it is sent to the graveyard so it needs to be from the field.

apparently you can control your hand, deck. Can i get an explanation about this ruling?

Control is specific to the field. It does not work from hand or Graveyard.
