Yes, but that was in Euro 2008 - he predicted Germany would beat Spain in the final.
But this World Cup was perfect for him. 8 matches, 8 correct picks.

Yeah, if you think of it, they used the wrong tactics for Euro - this was only 6 matches, he must have gone unfocused once he realized this will stop at 6.
This time, once he knew this would go to 8 and exactly 8 he was totally comfortable and could use the whole of his abilities.
Yeah, that sounds reasonable xd
