Mmm, yes. A nap. Still purring lightly, Poso decided to just sleep right where she was. Before too long, her swishing tail began to slow until it finally eased to a stop. She'd fallen asleep, her body next to the half eaten goat's.

When the other's tail stopped swishing about Pasha started tiptoeing in closer to the corpse. It was fairly light. The other girl had really eaten a lot. She glanced over at Poso then dug her teeth into the meatiest portion with the intent to run off with it.

Poso was a light sleeper, and at the slightest noise she would wake up, especially if she was just napping. So far though, Pasha hadn't been very loud. The grey stripped snow leopard continued to sleep--for the time being.

Once she had a good grip Pasha dug her heals into the ground with the intent of being far away before the other had time to react. The meat had been chewed right down to the spine in several places and when she charged it made a snap as it came apart. Less of a prize for her but on the bright side it made her load lighter and escape that much more plausible.

At the sound of the loud snap, Poso's eyes quickly flicked open. A hiss escaped her throat at the sight of the other female stealing her kill, and she quickly leaped to her feet. At the very least she was going to give the other a good scare and teach her a lesson for stealing other's hard earned kills. Growling fiercely, she tore after her.

Pasha was ready for that though. She'd known that there was a good chance that the other would awaken at the sound of her scrambling to get away. She pushed herself to run harder, cursing the fact that she'd never chosen a place to hide once the deed was done.

Poso kept hot on her heels, snarling and growling the whole time. When she got close, she nipped at the other's heels, her snarls much louder. She didn't intend on chasing her far, or stealing the meat back. She was just going to make her point, and then continue on her way.

Pasha whimpered at the snapping teeth but didn't drop the meat. This was a long way to go for no payout.

Once she figured the lesson had left its imprint, Poso slowed down to watch the other hightail it out of there. Perhaps next time she would think twice before she tried to steal someone else's kill.
Flicking her tail irritably, Poso turned around once the other was out of sight and headed up the rocky hillside to make her way back home.

Pasha ran until she was certain she was free and then found a rocky crag to hide under and chew on her prize.
