Alexi kept his eyes on the road, listening to his lover?/companion?/girlfriend? speak to him. "It's alright to be nervous." His voice was calm as he maneuvered expertly past vehicles, "I know what it's like to be in a foreign world...this world wasn't normal to me either at one point. But you'll get used to it." As he listened more, he could only nod. "It's two worlds put together...though I wouldn't know that either. I've...never crossed worlds before...it honestly gave me the shivers." His eyes looked towards hers, a small smile laced upon his lips.

Alexi really enjoyed her smile. It was a quick little thing, but precious and a light that he couldn't help but marvel at. A shiver ran up his back as she touched him, her hands folding over his almost perfectly as he drove, eyes moving to and from the road back to her as he analyzed the contents of her face, allowing his piercing eyes to observe the princess softly. It was still so strange how a woman so foreign felt so..comfortable around him. To say he wasn't for everyone was an understatement, nor he for others. But it was as she posed her inquiry, did Alexi almost freeze up, his eyes turning towards her as he pondered the bomb of a question.

He had to word it carefully, an image of his father smirking at his fumbles coming to fruition in the recesses of his mind. "...Shang..." He thought for a moment. "I've cared for few people in this life, and fewer that I'd say I hold close." His eyes shut again for a mere moment, "Outside of my family, Shang, you're the first person I've truly come to find as a treasurable, desirable beyond my comprehension or understanding and the beast...the beast in me also dictates you as the prize in the hoard of my memories. You're a stranger in this world as much as me, and..." He didn't know how to finish it, a light pink rising on his face, "Yeah..." he ended that rather stupidly.

Alexi was like a statue, frozen stiff and looking eyes forward as Shang continued to move closer towards him, driving slowly into the city and pulling into a local hotel for some rest. It was then that Shang got closer, her hands in his jacket as he turned, almost nervously looking at the princess to his right, observing her face as she spoke in that soft voice. It was here that actual nervousness displayed itself openly on his face, as he'd never actually....done anything. "I....what do you mean....?" He knew of the process, but had never done it...and its not like he had the parental guidance on the whole...birds and bees, schtick.

His face drew close to hers, his face covered in his black hair while the engine slowly ran and the faint sounds of music from the radio leaking out into the night. "Because....you are." His voice was quiet, and for once, Shang could see timidness and uncertainty in the Russian's eyes and face. A refreshing sight to say the least.

Alexi was entranced, confused, and just intrigued by what Shang was doing to him, his eyes looking deep into her own and his tongue tied as she looked towards him. "...I..."

And then the phone rang.

Jumping, Alexi picked up the phone and coughed, "Y-yes. We're about to go inside for the night." His eyes looked towards Shang as she had jumped, a small smirk upon his face at her jump. "You scared Shang." His voice being so flat was not a good mirror of his smirk.
