"I dunno. Personally, I don't like it when Krystal scolds me." Snookie said as she followed the sound of Sodu's claws tapping against the aluminum duct. When Sodu happily told her that they were almost there, Snookie sighed with relief. The sooner they got onto the roof the sooner they could go back down to the attic. "That's good that we're almost there."

"You're not very... outgoing are you Snookie." Sodu turned to face the white dog. "You haven't suggested anything but go back! That's so boring. Don't you think that doing something out of the ordinary is more fun that just playing tag between some flower pots?"
She huffed as she turned back. Pawing at the metal grate to the roof, Sodu waited for the screws to come loose. "You'll see when we get to the roof. All this trouble just adds to the satisfaction of seeing the view! How long have we been up here anyways?"

"No, I'm not a very outgoing pup." Snookie said quietly, with her ears against her head and her tails between her legs. "I like doing things I'm familiar with, like playing tag in between flower pots. I know I can do that and not get hurt."
Snookie stood there as Sodu turned and started pawing at the metal grate, trying to get the screws to losen so they could go out on the roof. "I don't know how long we've been at this. Maybe thirty minutes or so." She said.

Sodu sighed at the sight of Snookie tuck her tails between her legs. "I'm not going to bite, there isn't a need to be scared." After a few more minutes of silent scratching the metal grate popped open. "We're out!"
Sodu ran to the ledge of the roof and breathed in the windy air. "Don't you think this was worth it?" The air was fresh and filled with the smell of sweet flowers and yummy food from the restaurants nearby. "Look at this view! You can see the park from here!"
Looking towards Snookie who was still in the grate, Sodu bit her lip. "You're not giving me much to work with Snookie."

"Sorry, but I'm naturally timid." Snookie said before the grate popped open. She watched Sodu venture out onto the roof. She watched Sodu for a few minutes then after Sodu's comment, Snookie finally crept out onto the roof. "Sorry, but like I said before, I'm not a very adventurous pup, though I will admit the view is kind of nice."

Sodu let out another heavy sigh as she saw Snookie slowly crawling out of the vent. "I guess there really isn't much to do then... Let's go back down." While Sodu had fun today, she craved more; the extra something that Mint would always give her when they played together. "I wonder when my owner will come back. Come on, I'll need help with getting the vent back on."
She went back inside the vent and waited for Snookie to walk back in before grabbing the grate and snapping it back into the proper place. "Make sure to walk slowly back, we wouldn't want to fall again."

"Most of the time there is nothing to do here." Snookie said as she walked back into the vent again. "I don't know. Does she like flowers a lot ? If she does, my owner will probably give her discounts on flowers if your owner comes here quite a bit. I've seen her do that for other people and alright."
Snookie helped Sodu get the grate back on. Afterwards, she followed Sodu back through the air duct. "Sure thing and and that definitely wouldn't be a good thing to do. Falling, I mean." She said.

"Not really." Sodu said over her back. Her steps were cautious and her pace slow. "At least I don't think she does. I don't see flowers in the house that often."
She halted to a quick stop as she reached the gap. "Be careful, we're at the hole thing again." Carefully she turned to take another path, her two tails beating against the walls to make sure she didn't avoid any new paths. "Can't see anything yet... We should be almost there."

"Huh. Well, who knows." Snookie said following the sound of Sodu's claws hitting the surface of the duct. "Maybe she'll change her mind about flowers."
Snookie nearly ran into Sodu when she suddenly stopped, but fortunately she caught it just in time. "Alright." She said, so Sodu knew she had gotten the warning. After that she continued to follow Sodu back through the duct. "I think we should start seeing some light any time. After all, it seems to be getting a tiny bit lighter in here."

"She sneezes a lot when there are flowers in the house." Sodu said. "And flowers don't smell nice, so I'd rather not have them at home anyways."
Finally the light appeared and Sodu picked up her step and broke into a full out run. "There it is!"
With a quick jump she leaped out of the vent and into the attic. She gave her fur a quick shake for the dust and ran downstairs, leaving Snookie behind to follow. Maybe Mint finally came back!

"Huh. Well, maybe we'll run into each other at the park then. Krystal always takes me there." Snookie said. When Sodu called out that she'd found the entrance again, Snookie started running to. She tumbled out of the vent and into the attic. She stood up and shook out her fur and then followed Sodu downstairs.

Sodu looked back to Snookie, hearing something. However she shrugged it off to see if Mint had finally come back to pick her up. Snookie would follow her anyways.
"Hey, hey, hey, hey!" Sodu shouted out in excitement. She ran as fast as her legs could carry her into the main entrance of the shop. Within a second she was pressed against the shop window, looking out for Mint's green hoodie. Sodu's tails wagged at a fast pace, bumping against each other often.
Sodu's ears perked as she saw a familiar green come into view. "There she is!"
Only a few meters away Mint came into view. She looked tired but she quickened her pace to meet with Sodu. Mint spoke under her breath: "Thank God you're safe!"

When Sodu got excited, Snookie followed her to the window where she was perched, looking out it. "That's great." Snookie said, happy for the other pup that her owner was coming back.
When Krystal heard the door open and someone come in, she came out of the back room to see who it was. "Welcome back Mint." Krystal said. Shortly after that, Snookie jumped down out of the window and went over to her owner and whined slightly, so she would get picked up. After Krystal notice Snookie and picked her up, she sat her on the counter while petting her, waiting for Mint to say something.

Mint quickly opened the door to the shop and scooped up Sodu into her arms within a second. Tightening her dog's body closer to her own, Mint rubbed her face into the back of Sodu's neck and Sodu rubbed affectionately back. After a few seconds however, Sodu pulled back: "Cut it out, you're embarrassing me!"
"Welcome back Mint."
Mint gave a kiss to Sodu before she looked up at Krystal. "Thank you for dog sitting. I guess I should uh... go. It's been a long day."
