Introduction to Shikome:
I'll be questing for a Shikome. A shikome is the Japanese version of the Maenads we know in Greek Mythology. Maenads are the followers of Dionysus (the Greek god of booze, parties and stuff like that), but unlike the Maenads, the shikome do not indulge in drunken debauchery and sexual behaviour. Similar to the Furies from Greek mythology, shikome reside in the underworld. They are loyal to a fault, existing only to serve those they call 'Master'. There is an evil and untamed streak in the shikome, and though they normally do not kill, they take great pleasure in the act when they do kill someone. They don't communicate much. Highly analytical and easily adaptable, they are formidable opponents in a battle with their agility and ability to walk on anything at all. They are also highly efficient assassins, merciless in a fight. Shikome posses the power to turn invisible at will, manipulate spirit energy and disrupt the flow of energy. This makes it difficult for their opponents to use magic against them.
Appearance wise, they take on the form of a young woman with hair the color of onyx, pale skin and lips the color of blood. When angered, they reveal their true form, and that is a demonic old woman with claws meant for mangling.

Character Info
Name: Miyako (美夜子)
Personality: Cruel and calculative, Miyako is one spirit you never want to cross. She is heartless and merciless, and she does not forgive a mistake nor will she forget anyone who wrongs her. She is vengeful, bearing grudges for centuries. With a sharp, analytical mind, her plans for revenge are carried out with exacting precision, designed to cause the worst possible torture, physically, emotionally, psychologically and mentally. Many have been driven insane by her torture methods. She is cold and distant, rarely speaks unless necessary. Efficient, cold-blooded and ruthless, Miyako is the perfect assassin for a quick, clean death or a long, drawn-out and torturous death.
Unlike most shikome, Miyako will offer her services for someone who is willing to pay the right price. This means she serves more than one master, and many of them mortal. Her loyalty to them is almost non-existent, though she serves them only for what they pay her with. Even though her actions do not bother her, the reactions from her victims can cause Miyako to hesitate. A small portion of her humanity still speaks to her deep inside despite the changes she has acquired by becoming a spirit. She rarely shows this and prefers to appear as a heartless, cruel spirit bent on torturing information or extracting the truth from someone. She tortures her victims to the edge of the abyss of death but never to the point of death.
Appearance: Miyako takes on the form of a beautiful young woman. Her skin is pale, almost white. Her onyx coloured hair contrasts sharply with her skin and falls to her waist. Usually, her half of her hair is tied up in a small bun at the back of her head while the rest is let down. Her almond shaped eyes are the colour of emeralds, every bit as cold and hard as the gems. Her lips are the colour of blood and is the only other colour in her face besides her eyes. A dim white glow surrounds her, making her look unearthly. (clothing U/C cuz I have a new idea 8D)

Special Characteristics:
Miyako has the ability to switch forms easily. The only characteristics that are constant are her eyes and hair. They are the biggest giveaways when she assumes another form. Usually she takes on the form of a tall, shapely woman. She is also incredibly agile, capable of running across water and sometimes air. Miyako can also manipulate spirit energy as well as channel her own energy into disrupting another's flow of energy, effectively preventing them from using magic. She is also skilled in fighting with weapons, often preferring physical weapons over using her powers.

It'd be nice if you put more details and explanations in the intro section.
Particularly to clarify the mythological jargon because when I read it, i had my google open the entire time. rofl

For example, who are "Maenads"? 'Followers of dionysus' didn't give us much to work with on who/what they are. :'P

On the plus side, I really like the spirit that you chose. This was my favorite of what you had listed, and I'm really happy that you chose to go with this spirit. c: <3
On the negative side though, a Shikome seems to be a difficult spirit to work with in the way of developing a character with a lot of originality. It seems like you followed almost exactly what mythology seems to lay out for you. She sounds interesting and all, but she's leaning too heavily into a very common stereotype in addition to being so much like your typical Shikome, so personally, I'd like to see you develop her personality and maybe even her appearance more so she's more unique and less cliche.
I'd also like to see you give her some 'definite origins', or at least a legit reason as to why there's not much listed. I'm less concerned about the origins of Shikome in general as I am about her personally. I'd really like to see you develop her history, because the history of any character is really important.
I do like that you included some references though, that always helps, especially with the artists!
Also, are you thinking of a semi-custom or a full custom? You should mention that, and maybe add in a fund bar or something. Helps a lot in case someone wants to donate and they wanna know how much you need. c':
Basically, add to this. It's a good start, but it needs a lot of development. (:

Alright, my crit (for now ;]).
Sorry for sounding a bit too much like Sparks, but I do agree with her. The first part of the personality sounds a bit too much like a generic descriptions of the monster itself rather than the character. The second part seems much more promising, but it's a bit weird when it seems to openly contradict the first part in places. Also, add some of her personal quirks. Something as simple as likes and dislike lists can add a great deal of flesh to the character. It has a great deal of potential, you just need to work with it for a bit.
