Shisu watched intently to see if her attack would work. When her flames reduced the vines to ash she all but jumped with joy. She had a plan. On top of that, Shisu noticed something very interesting. It would seem whenever Chaos was going to attack with his creep vines, he pointed that Naginata at her. Did it control the vines or was it just a habit of his?

While she was pondering this she heard the wall crack behind her and spun around. She saw vines coming out of the wall, rising into the air before coming straight down at her. Shisu rolled sideways to dodge them and noticed motion out of the corner of her eye. Now crouching, she didn't have much momentum to dodge the thorns coming at her. Turning sideways, she lined the thorns up with the side of her arm. Two of the thorns hit, but instead of burying themselves in her skin they bounced off harmlessly, but tore her sleeve. Underneath, a kunai was being held in place with white fabric.

"If you didn't know, I have ninja tools hidden all over my person. They not only come in handy for easy access, but also for deflecting things at certain times," she said. Standing up, Shisu completed a few hand signs and produced three shadow clones just like herself. She had two run towards Chaos with kunai in their hands to try to cut off another chunk of his glass-like skin. Shisu and her other clone held back and prepared for another fire-style jutsu.

Well, clones are too weak, Shisu thought watching her clones get impaled with the darn vines, and I have a feeling that would happen to me, also. So, new plan. Try it myself.

Shisu dropped the clone jutsu letting her other clone disappear in a puff of smoke. Running towards Chaos, she made sure to avoid the vines that had just destroyed her two clones and drew her wakizashi getting closer and closer, ready to chop his arm off or at the very least make some sort of gash in his porcelain-like skin.

Shisu ran towards Chaos entering the mist flowing from his mouth. Right before stepping into the mist Shisu tore up one of her chakra cushion tags and stuffed a piece up each nostril. She felt ridiculous, but knew it was going to be the only way to not breathe the mist. No breathing, no breathing, she thought to herself. Finally close enough for an attack, Shisu rose her wakizashi and brought it down towards Chaos's left arm.

Shisu smiled as her blade sank into Chaos's arm, but made sure not to open her mouth. She felt something hit her face and went flying back, sliding on her back. While sliding back she dropped her wakizashi on her stomach and performed the hand signs for Katon: Endan. As she opened her mouth to spew fire she felt searing pain shoot through her entire skull. Damn it, my jaw is broken, she exclaimed in her head. Through the pain, she forced her jaw open as far as she could, sending flames flying from her mouth towards Chaos. I hope this works, she thought, finally skidding to a stop. Hopefully, she could catch the vines inside him on fire.

Shisu took the opportunity to stand up while Chaos got blasted across the room. She was officially sore all over. On top of the bruising on her back, she had just slid across the floor on the bruises. Her jaw hung loosely and her whole head throbbed from the pain. Tearing off part of her sleeve she tied her head so that her jaw was back in place, at least. After wiping blood away from her mouth she looked at Chaos. He was a total mess now and looked freaky, truthfully. She noticed that some of the vines were burnt, but healing. I'll have to toast him all at once, she thought.

Pulling the chakra tags out of her nose, she threw them on the ground. It was then she saw the first vine fly out of the ground. Straight at her. Shisu curved, and tried to dance around the vines as best she could, but she was losing all of her energy. Her chakra was almost gone and her body was tired. So this is how it ends, she thought. Almost instantly, she regretted that thought. I can't give up, she reminded herself, trying to be positive, but it was all she could do to keep dodging the vines. She couldn't even fit an attack in.

After dodging for what felt like hours, but was only minutes she messed up and her arm got cut badly by one of the vines and dropped to the ground, grasping her wound. She realized it wasn't minor, either, and actually went up her entire arm. Since it started around the wrist, it had tore off all of her kunai, shuriken, and knock out bombs. Looking at the blood, Shisu's vision started to get fuzzy. She had one last trick and doubted it would work with her left arm now out of commission.

Shisu looked up as the vines came at her. Death by vines. Never thought it would end like this, she thought. With that, her plan was rendered useless and she was surprised to find that she was okay with that. She had fought well in her opinion and was glad she at least went out fighting. She closed her eyes and smiled as the vines finally reached her.
