A vast desert spreads out in every direction with no end in sight. Below the menos forest lies crawling with hollows. However the real attraction is about to begin... on these glistening silver sands...

 Akai stood in the middle of the desert, the middle of no where. The Quinta had challenged her to a battle, for fun of course. Nothing was on the line. Akai would have taken it with ease if their was. She was the Queen of Hueco Mundo after all. The only Espada who had a chance of defeating her was maybe the Primera, but even then, there was a gap in power. There was a slight wind in the desert and her hair was blowing slowly behind her. It was like a black slice through the air that was shinning silver in the moonlight. Her deep pink zanpakuto hilt stuck out from the top of her black obi sash, the end of the sword in the sheath. It was shorter then a normal sword, so it wasn't sticking out toward the ground very far.
She stood here, with all her royal attitude and presence. Even by looking at Akai, standing there in the moonlight, they could see that she had some kind of high authority just by the way she kept herself, just by the way she stood. She was waiting for the Quinta, waiting for him to show up to this spar. She would refuse to use her Segunda Etapa. She hated it. She needed to train with her first Resurrection, and fighting her subordinates would be a great way to do that.

Quinta Espada Yuri walked out onto the silver desert, his hands in his pockets. His hair blew gently in the wind, overshadowing his eyes. A broad smile covered his face as he took his spot across from his queen. With a bow he began to speak, "It has been some time since I had a chance to stretch, I hope I continue to meet your... expectations." he said sincerely. He stood back straight raising his fists like a street fighter. "Now lets begin." he said with a smile. He wore the white button up shirt like always with the three center buttons to cover his hollow hole. His chakuto resting lightly behind his waist. However he had completely forgotten about it.

Bright blue orbs followed Yuri's body as we walked into the silver sands. He wore a smile on his face, like always. It seemed this boy was always smiling. It was a littke quirk that this Espada had. It bothered Akai sometimes. Always smiling... There was no need for it. Her face was serious as he spoke. Stretch? He would do more then that. Did he think she would go easy on him? No, she wasn't that kind of person. If she was going to fight someone, she wouldn't go easy on then, subordinate or not. She placed her hand on her zanpakuto hilt as he spoke. Maybe she wouldn't use it...
"You have the first move." Akai said, her voice soft and... almost cold. She kept her eyes on him, keeping her focus straight even as she spoke. Even if there was a large gab in power, she wouldn't leave herself open for mistake.This is it now

Quinta Espada Yuri's smile faded quickly seeming to almost vanish. Almost lethally serious in fact. He knew not to underestimate her. This wasn't going to be easy, he would be a fool to think so. He wasn't a fool, or at least he wasn't the last time he checked. Running at her he held his arms out to the sides his palms forward with his fingers bent. As he got within striking range he swung with his right hand before continuing with his left. The attacks seemed harmless if swung by a human, but he was throwing Reaitsu through his arms to increase the force nearly ten fold. Then he swept for her feet with his right leg aiming to take out her feet.

With each strike that Yuri threw at Akai, she countered, slapping his arm away. She put enough force behind her motions that it was enough to throw his hand back, and then she went for the other arm as it came toward her. She could feel the reiatsu pouring from his strikes. She kept his strikes far from her face, and if possible, away from her body. As his foot slide across the sands, in attempt to knock her over, she grabbed his arm as it came toward her, and jumped over him. She kept hold of his arm, and as she hit the ground behind him, she pulled his arm over his head, throwing him as far as she could, hoping he would hit head, or back first. But lions were... feline? Hopefully Yuri didn't follow the "cats always land on their feet" thing.
She stayed where she was, not quite ready to go on the offensive yet. She would wait a bit longer, and hit him when he least expected it.This is it now

Quinta Espada Yuri wasnt surprised when his blows were easily knocked away. there was no point in getting worked up over a few missed blows. As he felt his arm pulled over his head wasnt surprised at what happened next, he always found flying through the air annoying. Throwing his arms out he twisted his body landing on his hands before spinning and planting his feet firmly on the ground. Standing up he stretched his arms, Raising a hand he pointed a single finger at her. His finger began to glow a dark red before balla began firing from them at a rapid rate. He aimed at her body considering the head too small of a target. She would easily be able to dodge attacks on the head. Then while she was preoccupied with them he moved in again to strike with his fists again. swinging to hit her in the stomach from below.
