Hey guys, I'm auditioning for Rolf in The Sound of Music. Any advice on songs I could sing? I'm a baritone, and I can go pretty high.

You could always sing "One Song, Glory" from RENT. My buddy sang it for his audition and he got to be Rolf!

Yeah, I agree. That's probably your best bet as a tenor.

Yeah, "One Song Glory" sounds pretty good.
You could also go for some Sondheim. A lot of his songs are very much like "Sixteen Going On Seventeen..." heavily based on scales, upbeat, and with good and big ranges.
But Sondheim was pretty much Jonathan Larson's mentor, so a number from Rent is still a very good choice.
