Two races of vampires walk our world. One, the Moroi, are alive and wield elemental magical. The other, the Strigoi, are undead and evil--feeding on the innocent to survive. BloodAngel95 I haven't read the last book, gur aw. I recomend having the last one before finishing Spirit Bound. I knew ifI didn't, I would of gone crazy with a cliffhanger

There's going to be a spin-off to be released in August.

Ray Ray86 i'll hve check it out i already was curious about it just where from the description of vampire academy sorta the same idea or concept of vampire and school as far as that goes reminded me of vampire knight in a way like Vampire Knight far as having a school of vampires (House of Night Series does this too and another great vampire series) "Lissa Dragomir is a Moroi princess: a mortal vampire with an unbreakable bond to the earth's magic. She must be protected at all times from Strigoi; the fiercest and most dangerous vampires--the ones who never die.
The powerful blend of human and vampire blood that flows through Rose Hathaway, Lissa's best friend, makes her a Dhampir; she is dedicated to a dangerous life of protecting Lissa from the Strigoi, who are hell-bent on making her one of them.
