So... there ridiculously large weapons that fire at roughly 90-120 RPM?

And the shotgun one uses 60mm shotgun rounds instead of 18.5mm shotgun rounds...?

And it fires rounds "Twice as big" and is 60 pounds even though it's only 49 inches long...?

So their kind of magically big, not actually being big but pretending they are?

Oh and you can't forget the breech loaded shotgun at the front of the weapon...

Oh I'm not very good with dimensions and such so I kinda just Guessed. I guess 60mm was a bit too big to be realistic, huh? But if you want you can take the general concept of it. I pretty much just made it to be mounted on vehicles and aircraft so yeah. If you can give me realistic dimensions that would be great.

Well, um, they only fire at around 80-120 rpm. So I would imagine that they wouldn't need to be that big.

And they would probably need to be stationary, as moving vehicles sort of need a much higher rater of fire. As far as weight and relative size go, they would probably be around 50 inches long and weigh around 40 pounds.

In terms of caliber size, a 12 gauge shotgun has a .729 inch diameter or is roughly 18.5mm, and an 8 gauge shotgun has roughly a .835 inch diameter or 21.2mm diameter (8 gauge = shotgun from halo). To compare to other calibers, a 28 gauge has .550 inch or 14mm diameter, a 20 gauge shotgun has a .615 inch or 15.6mm diameter, a 4 gauge shotgun has a diameter of 1.052 inches of 25.5mm, and a 1 gauge shotgun (yes, a 1 gauge) has a diameter of 1.669 inches or 42mm.

The absolute biggest gauge EVER, which was designed for black powder cannons, was 101.60mm or 4 inches. The second of course, was 3 inches, and the third was 2 inches.

While Cannons have had that high of a "Gauge" before, only two have ever been above 60mm.

So, for a shotgun, compared to the largest shotgun gauge available (a 1 guage, or 42mm) your numbers are a bit off. Although your concept are a bit solid in being an automatic stationary shotgun. Problem is that, if it's not man portable, there's no reason to NOT over build it.

Basically, your weapon isn't man portable. So why have a "Medium" heavy machine gun?

The thing should be closer to a hundred pounds and fire extremely quickly, rather than cutting back in weight and saving in capability. For it to not be man portable, by the way, it would have to be hundreds of pounds (as crew served weapons, such as a .50 caliber machine gun, are typically operated by two to four people, and easily carried by four).

In a large weapon like that, as well, loading at the muzzle would be a little ridiculous and, you would probably want it belt fed rather than drum fed, as drums (especially at that size) would be rather unreliable and give a fixed round amount, were as belt fed weapons have the capability of holding several different, if not potentially unlimited, round amounts.
