So I got an ok photo of the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.
Wish the color of the bridge showed more though stressed
The sky is soooo blue, but the bridge looks brown, it makes me sad.
So anyways I have gone in a tried to edit it so it look more artistic them it looks, lol.

So I don't know if you guys think it looks better, but for some reason I really like it.
It looks more rustic/old school"ish" type photo to me.
So tell me what you think.

Oh and I have this edit but I don't think its really artistic or well done.
I might just frame it for around my house because I think it looks nicer then my older flower photos, lol

Personally, I really like the edit. I love the color in it. In the original photo, the color just seems.. bland and sort of washed out. I really dig the edit. :]

The only suggestion for the original photo would be to adjust the contrast a bunch. But you obviously fixed that in the edited one. Other than that, great shot! mrgreen

I'm not a huge fan of heavily edited pictures. In your edit, it kinda makes me think the Zombies have attacked. lol

I think I would like it a little better if there weren't so many color changes, like the green water for instance.

I don't think this is really heavily edited at all, just different then the original.
I was trying to get more color into the photo so it didn't look SO washed out in color.
The bright blue sky and bright blue water felt like it was washing out the bridge really bad.

But I have gotten someone else saying it looks like I did a before and after of the appocolipce or something. lol.

Ok so I tried to do a more, ummmmm, natural look I guess you would call it.

Yeah, I kind of like that one better. lol, I'm just personally not a fan of more editing than maybe changing the contrast and saturation a little bit. Maybe using the healing brush a little on portraits to get rid of some imperfections in the models skin. Stuff like that. XD

You are completely right that the washed out color in the original needed some tweaking.

Thats normally what I do, just edit the contrast/brightness and color saturation, maybe add a warming filter.

But I just though this particular photo needed just a bit more then just that.
But thats just me, lol
I really like that green"ish" color for the water against the blue sky

I really like them both, but personally, I like the original better. I like how you can see the sky real bright blue.
You did a great job capturing them. That bridge is hard to get a picture of. When I tried, I trouble getting a good picture of it..
